Marvel Rivals was released on December 6 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. To kick off the game’s launch, it’s currently in Season 0, which is a shortened season running for a bit over a month. This season’s battle pass is also shorter this time around, offering 29 rewards. The premium battle pass costs 490 lattice in-game currency, which is about $5. Standard battle passes in the future will cost $10 and thankfully, premium battle passes don’t expire.
At launch, Marvel Rivals has 33 playable characters in its roster, which is humungous compared to other similar games. NetEase has also confirmed that its microtransaction strategy for Marvel Rivals only includes cosmetics such as skins and emotes.
