Her relentless combos and high-damage abilities make her a threat at any range, while her mobility allows her to dominate opponents in close combat. In this guide, we’ll explore Kefla’s abilities, strengths, and different transformations to help you harness her explosive potential and leave your foes struggling to keep up.

Fusion Rules

As you may know, you have two ways of accessing Kefla, either picking her directly or by fusing during a match. To fuse, you need to have both Kale and Caulifla in your team, and the one you are controlling has to be in base form.

The most effective way of using Kefla is by picking her directly, but there are strategies involving fusions like making use of the added health during a match. Since you need to be in base form, remember that Kale can’t go back to base form from her berserker state, so you’ll have to be Caulifla if a given match reaches that state.

Kefla In Versus And Online Matches

In terms of stats, Kefla has little to envy the other fusion characters, having the speed, health, and power all the others have. Her skills, however, don’t go too far beyond some buffs, so you’re better off saving the Skill Count for transforming.

For the low cost of six DP though, you have quite the powerful character, able to go even further beyond. Her Specials have a nice balance, but remember that her Ultimate is an area explosion, something players used to her from FighterZ won’t expect.

Kefla Super Saiyan In Versus And Online Matches

As a Super Saiyan, Kefla’s skills continue to be only for buffs, but False Courage is one you want to keep an eye on. For a single Skill Count, you gain special armor that prevents you from flinching from attacks, letting you go into a clear offensive and land any combo you need.

The Ultimate move, Hexa-Cannonball, starts off as a series of projectiles, meaning that it can’t challenge other Beams during clashes. Beyond that, the Ultimate does solid damage, and the tracking of the projectiles is among the best in the game.

Kefla Super Saiyan 2 In Versus And Online Matches

This is Kefla’s final form, gaining a skill that lets her instantly enter Sparking Mode. Since you don’t need to save the Skill Count for any other forms, this is the main skill you’ll be using, making your Ultimate a constant threat throughout the match.

Her Ultimate move, Gigantic Burst, is once again an explosive wave, but it is hard to tell if you only see the move’s animation. Use this to your advantage, and remember that just because your opponent saw your Ultimate move once doesn’t mean they know how to counter it in the future.
