Goku Black In Versus And Online Matches
For being a character of the Super era, and an antagonist no less, Goku Black might seem like he’s lacking in the strength department. This is mostly to do with the fact that his ultimate form is Super Saiyan Rose, and as such, he can’t do much in base form.
He, however, has a balanced moveset that can take on any opponent, with decent ranged Supers and an unblockable Rush Super, although that last move is a bit expensive. His skills aren’t something worth noting, since you’re better off saving the Skill Count to transform into Rose.
The main purpose of picking this Goku Black over his transformed version is the cost, specifically for DP Battle mode. There, Goku Black costs only five DP, while his transformed version costs eight, making his base form a great way to squeeze more power into a team.
Goku Black starts fights with two Skill Counts on him already, meaning you are almost ready to transform as the fight starts.

Goku Black Super Saiyan Rose In Versus And Online Matches
This version of the character is comparable in power to the greatest characters of the game, not counting the fused ones. While he no longer has an unblockable Super, he trades that for an unblockable basic Ki blast, as long as you charge the blast while standing still.
His skills are far better too, with a way to instantly enter Sparking Mode as well as Goku’s signature Instant Transmission. The teleportation technique should be used sparingly, otherwise you risk becoming predictable for your opponent.
