There are three classes for your character in Atlyss, and you need to complete some requisites before finding them. Learn about them here!

As you arrive in the Crescent Keep, you’ll quickly realize that exploration is just as important in this game as combat. This area is full of tough enemies that can give you a tough time even if you’re all leveled up, but finding your way to the objectives here can be an even bigger challenge.

How To Reach The Crescent Keep

After hitting level 10, you can receive The Keep Within quest from Angela inside the Sanctum. The quest implies that you have to find two sigils in the Crescent Keep and that this area can be reached from the Effold Terrace field zone. As you arrive in the Effold Terrace field zone, you will find a small pathway to your right, leading to a portal.

This portal will teleport you to the Woodreach Pass area, and you can easily access the Crescent Keep portal from here. You will find the Crescent Keep Waypoint towards your right and an inactive portal in the center of the area. However, the two sigils are inside the keep to your left, which can be accessed by climbing the rope hanging from the ledge.

You will encounter several Golems, Mekboars, and Mouths inside the Crescent Keep. Most of these enemies aren’t that much of a problem if you’re at least level 13 and have decent equipment. The main objective in this area is to find the East and West Wing Sigils, and then you will have to return to Angela for further instructions.

You may find a couple of Golems roaming the area inside the Crescent Keep, but you don’t have to fight against them or any other enemy here, as they’ll keep infinitely respawning, and it isn’t required for any objectives. Instead, you should focus on the upcoming trials where you will have to fight a significant number of enemies in quick succession.

If you’re having trouble leveling up, taking on some repeatable quests from Angela, Sally or Enok can quickly allow you to increase your level. You can also purchase the Tomes of Experience from Sally to get additional experience.

How To Find The West Wing Sigil

Finding the West Wing Sigil is fairly easy. You have to head to your left immediately after jumping down from the rope inside the Crescent Keep. You will find a platform covered in purple smoke, and stepping on it will trigger a trial, spawning several enemies that you will have to defeat.

Defeating these enemies will spawn a treasure chest, and will allow you to get past the platform. After you’ve gotten past the platform, you’ll notice a ramp going up to your right. Get on the ramp, and then you will have to jump onto the ledges to the front to reach the upper floor of the area.

If you’re having trouble reaching some ledges, you can try jumping into the air and then pressing the dash button.

Once you’ve reached the upper floor, you will have to fight against another trial and once you’re done, you’ll be able to head ahead and pull a lever by the window. Once you pull the lever, a gate will be unlocked, and you’ll be able to see it from the window. Jump out of the window and head through the unlocked gate.

The West Wing Sigil will be in the room just ahead, but before attuning it, you will have to fight another trial. After defeating all the enemies, you will receive a chest as a reward and will be able to attune the West Wing Sigil.

How To Find The East Wing Sigil

The East Wing Sigil is quite tricky to get, as it is on the other side of the area. Return to the ramp near the platform which was previously covered in purple smoke. Continue to jump on the ledges, but stop before making the final jump to the upper floor.

When you’re standing on the last ledge, you’ll notice that there is enough space for you to jump to the side of the fence on the top floor. Jump on that small ledge and progress ahead. As you make progress, you will arrive at a lever. Pulling the lever will show a message on the screen, asking you to seek the gate with a lonely torch that was previously closed.

Jump back a few ledges, turn around the corner, and you’ll find the gate with a lonely torch ahead of you. Progress ahead, and you will have to fight another trial in a room covered with purple smoke. You will fight several trials from here, so you should be prepared for it.

It’s recommended to invest in certain class skills that can deal damage with a wide area of effect. These skills will allow you to complete trials faster by defeating hordes of enemies quickly. You should also bring several healing consumables, such as the Bunpot, to make sure you can survive the fights, or you will have to do all the trials again if you die.

There are a total of three trials in this part of the area, one after the other, and each trial will give you a chest after completion. While you will encounter the same type of enemies, each trial requires you to defeat more enemies than the previous one.

After clearing the third trial, you will enter a room with a sentry statue that will shoot a laser at you if it sees you. You can easily avoid the laser by dashing. Just beyond the sentry, there’s the room with the East Wing Sigil, but right before that, you will have to fight another trial. After defeating all the enemies and clearing the trial, you will be able to attune the East Wing Sigil.

Use the Recall Skill after attuning both sigils to return to the Sanctum immediately.

What To Do After Attuning East And West Sigil

After attuning both sigils, you will have to return to Angela to complete The Keep Within quest. Completing the quest will reward you with 680 Crowns and a lot of experience. Right after that, Angela will give you the Tethering Grove quest, which can only be accepted after you’ve reached level 15.

The Tethering Grove quest requires you to find the third sigil beyond the room where you found the East Wing Sigil. You will have to progress to the room with the East Wing Sigil and clear all the trials again to complete this quest.

The image shows the player standing in front of the door leading to the Crescent Grove in Atlyss.

Once you’re back in the East Sigil’s chamber, a gate behind the East Wing Sigil will open. The door won’t be unlocked till you accept the Tethering Grove quest from Angela. Progressing through the newly opened gate will bring you to the Crescent Grove Waypoint and a portal that allows you to access the Crescent Grove Dungeon.

You will have to find the third sigil inside the Crescent Grove Dungeon to finish the Tethering Grove quest. The enemies inside the dungeon are much stronger than the Crescent Keep, so it’s best to prepare before heading ahead.
