Unsurprisingly, Geralt’s original voice actor Doug Cockle has been asked if he will come back as the White Wolf in The Witcher 4, and even seemed to confirm as much in an interview back in August. Since then, however, Cockle revealed that he has been “slapped” by CD Projekt Red and clarified in an interview with MCM Comic Con Birmingham (via GamesRadar) that his previous claims were based on an unverified rumor. In truth, Cockle only knows as much as anyone else outside of CDPR if Geralt is indeed going to appear in The Witcher 4.

In any case, Cockle reiterated that he actually doesn’t know anything about The Witcher 4, and that if CDPR is indeed planning to bring Geralt back he hasn’t been told yet.
