Genetic Apex SP is the second Emblem Event in Pokemon Pocket, following November’s Emblem Event, which lasted 20 days. In this PvP event, you need to achieve two to five consecutive wins to earn badges of honor, which can then be displayed on your profile to showcase your skill.

Compared to the previous event, Genetic Apex SP Emblem Event 1 introduces two key changes: 1) You only need five wins to complete the event instead of 45. However, these wins must be uninterrupted, with no losses or concedes in between. 2) The event lasts just one week, whereas the previous Emblem Event ran for twenty days.

Genetic Apex SP Emblem Event 1 Missions & Rewards

The main goal in the SP Emblem Event is to win five consecutive matches. Any loss will reset the counter, requiring you to start from the beginning. In addition to the primary mission, there are side quests that reward you with Shinedust and Pack Hourglasses.

With three archetypes dominating Pocket’s PvP metagame, the best decks for December’s Emblem Event are Mewtwo ex, Pikachu ex, and Articuno ex. To minimize RNG, it’s wise to avoid counter decks like Marowak ex. Your chances improve by using a mirror strategy—playing the same deck as your opponent.

If you don’t have one of the top three decks (Mewtwo ex, Pikachu ex, Articuno ex), consider using a META Charizard ex deck. While not ideal against the top-tier decks, its lower RNG gives you a better shot at winning against other META decks.
