As expected, getting great performance out of Marvel Rivals is incredibly easy for our test rigs. At 1080p using the above settings, I averaged 102.5fps with a 1% low of 61.5fps. This is a fantastic result for such high settings.
At 2,560 x 1,440 with the above settings, there wasn’t much difference in the average performance either, with an average of 99.2fps reported, but the 1% low was considerably lower at 51.9fps. Even so, this is still perfectly playable.
Pushing for the ultra video settings still returned average numbers well north of 60fps, with 88.1fps at 1080p and 79.3fps at 1440p. Again, these 1% numbers took a hit with 50fps and 45fps respectively.
With Marvel Rivals being a competitive shooter, it’s best to stick to the settings that give you the best average while maintaining a 1% low of at least 60fps, so you can rest assured that any drops that do occur aren’t too severe. Graphically, the game doesn’t look bad at any of the graphics settings, so it’s well worth lowering specific settings gradually if you’re struggling to get a level of performance with which you’re happy.
