Marvel Rivals is a fun, chaotic, third-person team-based shooter in which players can take on the role of their favorite Marvel heroes and Villains, utilizing unique abilities to fight against one another, and even utilize the Team-Up feature with allies to take each character’s potential to new limits. Marvel Rivals already has over thirty different playable heroes across three different roles, each of which has a unique job to play on the field, which has caused players to jump headfirst into the fun and start to try mastering their main heroes and preferred picks.
Only a few days after launch, Marvel Rivals has already kicked off the first-ever season of Competitive Play in S0 – Dooms’ Rise. All Dooms’ Rise Competitive Event Rewards & How to Get Them in Marvel Rivals
In Marvel Rivals, Competitive Play unlocked for the very first time in the Doom’s Rise Season on 8 December, 2024. Following this date, any payer who reaches level 10 on their profile through playing Quick Play will become eligible to play Competitive Play. Upon beginning Competitive Play, all players will be placed in Bronze for the very first time, and need to spend time grinding matches and securing victories to rank up until the system determines where you belong.
However, Marvel Rivals have also added some extra incentives to encourage players to give Competitive Play a try in the form of Competitive event rewards. During the Dooms’ Rise Competitive Season, any player who manages to reach the Gold Rank division will automatically earn the Golden Moonlight cosmetic for Moon Knight.
In addition to this, players who manage to hit the Grand Master Rank will receive the Sliver Crest of Honor – a small badge that appears in the top right hand corner of the Nameplate on your player account. Players who manage to reach Top 500 during Season 0 will will receive the Gold Crest of Honor.
In Marvel Rivals, reward are given out based the highest rank achieved after Season 1 begins, meaning if you manage to hit Gold, but then go on a loss streak and de-rank back down to Silver, there’s no need to worry; your peak Rank was Gold, meaning you will still receive the Golden Moonlight Moon Knight cosmetic.
