Stele #2: Protector Stele – Finding the Pendant
Finding this particular Gizeh Stele in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle tends to be more involved, as it’s part of the Sanctuary of the Guardians side quest. If you head to the left-hand side portion of the Sphinx, you can drop down an entrance to a dig site. There, you’ll encounter Gina, and you’ll be able to pick up the Digsite Outfit, one of several disguises in the game.
You won’t be able to enter the underground section, though, because you need a pendant. If you track the Sanctuary of the Guardians quest, you’ll realize that it’s in the Recreation Area.
Be sure to wear the Digsite Outfit when you enter the tent. This will cause one of the officers to tell you to bring a bottle of alcohol to him. Do as he asks so you don’t provoke all the hostiles into a fight. Then, pick up the medallion when the coast is clear.
Note: Before you return to Gina at the Sphinx, be sure to grab Stele #3 and #4 since they’re close by.
