However, after picking up a note on top, this seemingly decorative piece of box will turn into the House of God mystery for players to solve. There aren’t any clues on the note that can give players a hint about solving the puzzle box. It’s only through trial and error that you’ll get to the bottom of this mystery.

How to Solve the Basilica Puzzle in House of God Mystery

After picking up the Cleaning Note off the miniature Basilica model, players will start the House of God Mystery in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. There are no clues that give players any directions whatsoever on solving the Basilica Puzzle. The only thing players can interact with is a lever at the center of the puzzle box which can be pushed either left or right.

Let’s check out how players can solve the Basilica Puzzle during the House of God Mystery in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.

Get the Relief Medallion


The first thing players must do is interact with the lever and push it towards the right side. Doing this will unlock the left secret compartment of the Basilica Puzzle box. Check the left side and grab the Relief Medallion from the compartment.

Use the Medallion to Get the Golden Chalice

After taking the Relief Medallion, interact with the lever again and push it towards the left side to open the secret compartment to the right. Head towards the right side of the Basilica Puzzle box and place the Relief Medallion in the slot.

This will unlock another secret compartment on the left side that players can retrieve the Golden Chalice from.

Completing the Basilica Puzzle


Once you have the Golden Chalice, place it in the center of the Basilica Puzzle box to open the final secret compartment in the front. This will complete the House of God mystery in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.

As a reward, players will receive the Vatican Relics Journal from the secret compartment in the front, which will reveal the location of hidden artifacts scattered around the Vatican City. You’ll also get 100 Adventure Points (EXP) after completing the puzzles, which can be used to unlock new skills from acquired adventure books.

Where to Find the Basilica Puzzle Box in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle


Players can start the House of God mystery and solve the Basilica Box in the Apostolic Palace. If you haven’t stumbled upon the House of God mystery yet, you can grab the pamphlet from Ernesto in the post office that reveals all the mysteries in the Vatican. However, for players who don’t want to spend their money, here’s how you can find the Basilica Puzzle box and complete the House of Box mystery in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.

  1. Head towards the location marked on the map above, and you’ll arrive at the Borgia Courtyard.
  2. Go into the building guarded by soldiers, and go up two flights of stairs to enter the Apostolic Palace.
  3. Once inside, go up the stairs and head into the double doors at the top, and then into another door to arrive at the Basilica Puzzle box.

This will allow you to start the House of God mystery and earn the rewards it offers.
