Iron Man is one of the many Duelist characters that players can use in Marvel Rivals. Duelists are all about engaging their enemies, something Iron Man does phenomenally well. Iron Man has the means of moving at speeds that other heroes in the game cannot hope to match, as well as being able to choose to deal damage as a continuous beam or individual blasts.
He is also able to gain altitude at will to move above any structure and get to any part of the map. Iron Man also has a difficulty of only 2 Stars, making him a character that may not be among the easiest, but with a very small learning curve.

Iron Man has had a plethora of gadgets in the comics, but Marvel Rival’s Iron Man has a kit that gives players the perfect learning experience for the game. However, this kit also has some elements that players will need to spend time with in order to fully understand.
He has enough health to take a couple hits while being mobile enough to avoid being a sitting duck like some characters. Some have compared Iron Man to that of Overwatch 2’s Pharah, but the two have very different means of play.

Hulk can also be a Team-Up option for Doctor Strange. |

Activating Invincible Pulse Cannon will cause Iron Man to halt all movement while he charges a powerful concentration of energy, then fire it at the targeted location for a massive AoE explosion. When to Use Iron Man’s Ultimate
Players might be tempted to use Iron Man’s Invincible Pulse Cannon the moment it’s ready, but they should really hold off until the time is right. There are numerous game modes in Marvel Rivals, including some that involve escorting something throughout the map or holding down a specific location. Both of these invite the opportunity for opposing team members to gather in a single spot. Once 3 or more enemies have gathered close together, fire off the Invincible Pulse Cannon to wipe all of them out in 1 shot.

Tips and Tricks for Playing Iron Man in Marvel Rivals
Iron Man is able to pull his weight as one of the team’s primary damage dealers — no matter the range. Should he fall in combat, he is able to use Hyper-Velocity to speedily get right back to where he was. Players should use their Micro-Missile Barrage the moment they see enemies, as this will cause some damage before they even stop to begin their primary assault.
While Iron Man can take on enemies up close, his best range is actually from up in the air. This allows him to provide supportive fire for whichever teammates are locked in melee combat. His Repulsor Blast is his primary fire for a reason, and should be what players constantly make use of. They should, however, switch to Unibeam for a continuous damage beam to chip away at their remaining health if their opponent is facing away from them and unlikely to move.
