There are three currencies and four relevant materials that you need to learn about to fully understand the gacha system in Infinity Nikki.

You will likely obtain three-star pieces the most, but the game has some mechanics in place that guarantee some four or five-star pieces after you make a specific number of draws. By collecting Diamonds needed to make crystals, you can complete various collections in the Compendium.

How Does Resonance Work?

Nikki is shown in a Resonance Animation in Infinity Nikki.

Drawing clothes in Resonance is one of the quickest ways to obtain some rare pieces and outfits. To make a single draw, you need 120 diamonds to purchase a crystal, which means that to do a 10x draw, you will need 1,200 diamonds to get ten crystals.

You can spend real cash to obtain Stellarite, which you can exchange for Diamonds.

You are guaranteed a four-star piece in your tenth draw if you keep getting three-star pieces. If you aren’t getting any stunning five-star pieces, keep drawing, and you are guaranteed to get one in your 20th draw.

You will not obtain duplicate pieces until you have completed the entire outfit.

You are more likely to draw three-star pieces, considering that they have a base probability of 82.44 percent. Getting a five-star outfit will take more draws because of the low base probability of 1.5 percent. You are slightly more likely to get four-star pieces with a base probability of 3.29 percent.

You can get more Diamonds from the store by using Surging Ebbs and Tranquility droplets. Surging Ebbs are obtained after you get duplicate four or five-star pieces, while Tranquility droplets show up every time you get a three or three-star duplicate piece.

Permanent Resonance

Permanent Resonance banner is shown in Infinity Nikki.

Currently, the Permanent Resonance banner has four five-star outfits, which you can draw anytime you want. To get the outfit you want the most, you can use Tidal Guidance to draw the pieces from any one outfit. The Tidal Guidance effect will remain until you complete the outfit.

You need Resonite Crystals, which you can buy with your Diamonds. The following outfits can be selected for Tidal Guidance.

  • Fairytale Swan
  • Crystal Poems
  • Whispers of Waves
  • Blossoming Stars

However, if you have collected the pieces you wanted, you can cancel Tidal Guidance and choose another outfit instead. Keep in mind that you have only a few Tidal Guidance attempts, so cancel it only if you do not plan on getting any other piece from a selected outfit.

The permanent Resonance Banner also has a selection of some three-star and four-star pieces to obtain, which you can check by clicking on the details button on the banner.

Limited Time Resonance

The Butterfly Dream limited time resonance event is shown in Infinity Nikki.

Limited Time Resonance banners are only available for a specified short period of time. So we recommend saving up some Diamonds to buy Revelation Crystals. Then you can get the outfits which you want the most when they arrive.

Unlike Tidal Guidance, you can choose the Ocean’s Blessing once to get a single piece that you really want from any outfit. You cannot change your targeted item once you have made a selection. You will get your most-wanted piece more quickly, and you are guaranteed to obtain it on your fifth five-star draw.

Ocean’s Blessing ends when a Resonance event is over, and if an outfit gets a rerun, you need to make your choice again.
