How To Get More Spirit In PoE2
Put simply, Spirit can be obtained by picking up key items and defeating bosses during the game’s acts. Scepters are one item that really helps with Spirit, as they bypass the Spirit requirements.
Certain bosses will also permanently increase your maximum Spirit.
As you level up and play through the Acts, your character will naturally gain Spirit. However, there’s no quick way to farm it. Scepters help, but they’re a build choice that limits your effectiveness elsewhere.
Spirit as a resource can be used by all classes, but it’s really the Witch who uses the most as the character summons more than any other. While Spirit is consumed by Summoned Monsters, Meta Gems, and Buffs. Summons seem to use more than any other though, with Skeletal Archers requiring almost 100 spirit for just a single archer.
Overall, it appears that Spirit has been balanced around preventing early-game characters from being able to summon hordes of monsters. As a result, it can be ineffective to use them over other powers early in the game. Instead, it could be useful to focus on other weapons and powers until you have well over 200 or more Spirit to make summoning effective.
