In a restricted area in The Vatican, you’ll start a Mystery called A Snake in the Garden. It involves a bookcase in an office and you need to move four books in the correct order to activate the locks and grab the rewards. However, you can’t see what the books are.
A Snake In The Garden Notes
The important note is on Ventura’s desk in that room. It tells you that you need to pull the books in the alphabetical order of their authors. However, no matter how closely you look at the books, you will not be able to see who the authors are, nor what the books are called.
Turn the Bookcase Note over while looking at it though, and you’ll see four names and a symbol next to them. Take a look at the bookcase and you’ll see one of those symbols on each book.
In Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, always remember to check the back of notes if you can. The important hints are often hidden there.
You then need to work out which book is which author and then what their alphabetical order is.
A Snake The Garden Mystery Solution
You’ll soon work out that the books are in the following places, from left to right on the bookcase:
Book |
Position |
---|---|
Francorum |
2nd |
Logicae |
4th |
Philosophae |
1st |
QDV |
3rd |
Therefore, you need to move the books in that order. Second book, then fourth book, then first book, and finally the third book. That will open up a small chest on the right side of the bookcase so you can grab your rewards. You’ll also get some Adventure Points for completing the Mystery!
