Black Clover Manga Will Return With Two New Chapters

Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover is a new-generation shonen series. It has made a big name for itself in a very short time. Unfortunately, manga went on a hiatus due to the author’s health. The author has been struggling with health issues, which is why he hasn’t been able to focus completely on the manga. For this reason, Yuki Tabata was forced to move Black Clover to Jump Giga.

But Black Clover fans can rejoice as the manga received an exciting update. According to a new report, the Black Clover manga is set to return with two new chapters in the Jump Giga Winter 2025 issue. This means readers will be able to enjoy two chapters back-to-back.

How Yuki Tabata Started Black Clover

Yuki Tabata has been part of the manga industry for a long time. He started working when he was just 20 years old, and, at the time, he found work as an assistant. At one point, Yuki Tabata decided to start his own series. His Hungry Jokers got a brief run but was ultimately canceled.

Following this failure, Yuki Tabata decided to alter a few things, including the protagonist’s personality. Black Clover started serializing in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2015. The run continued until August 2023, after which it moved to Jump Giga in December 2023. In terms of sales, Black Clover has sold 19 million copies. However, it is worth noting the report is dated, and the new number is likely to be higher.

The manga received a spin-off titled Asta’s Journey to the Wizard King. It was written by Setta Kobayashi, and it was serialized from February 2018 to April 2021. Black Clover has also been the recipient of three novels, all of which have been written by Johnny Onda.

Black Clover’s anime adaptation was announced at Jump Festa 2016. It was confirmed that Studio Pierrot would be animating the series. The Black Clover anime was finally released in October 2017. Despite the initial hiccups, the anime eventually won over fans and became a hit.

In 2021, the series announced a new film called Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King. Ayataka Tanemura was put in charge of directing, while Itsuko Takeda drew the character designs. Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King was originally set to be released on March 31, 2023, but it was delayed to June 16 of the same year.
