In Path of Exile 2, microtransactions are available from the start of the game and offer a lot of extra bonuses you can purchase with Points. Though you can buy plenty of cosmetics and alternate appearances in the microtransaction store, Path of Exile 2 players can also get gameplay and UI packs that improve mechanics or add useful features.

One of the most useful microtransactions are Stash Tabs, which can help you sort an enormous inventory to make your items and currencies easier to access and organize. There are a few different types of Stash Tabs in Path of Exile 2, but these five are the ones you should prioritize first – especially the Currency Stash Tab, which is widely regarded as one of the best MTX in Path of Exile that all players should get.

Premium Stash Tabs don’t offer much of a mechanical upgrade over basic Stash Tabs, but the ability to name, recolor, and quickly navigate between your tabs instead of remembering which number corresponds to which item type quickly proves its value.

Unique Collection Tab

The Unique Collection Tab is one of the best ways to save inventory space in Path of Exile 2 once you start getting deep into the endgame. Unique items take up the same space that any normal or lower-tier piece of equipment would, so they can fill up your Stash and inventory once you start to collect a few.

The Unique Collection Tab essentially gives you a sortable directory that also lets you store one of every Unique in Path of Exile 2. It’s the most expensive Stash Tab on this list of the best Stash Tabs in Path of Exile 2, but once you collect a few Uniques it’s clear how useful this QoL feature is.

Currency Stash Tab

The Currency Stash Tab is the most useful Stash Tab in Path of Exile 2 because it provides an easy to navigate, extremely well-organized interface for virtually every Currency in the game. Each type of Currency (from Runes to Shards to Upgrade and Modification materials) has its own spot on the Currency Stash Tab UI.

Items are generally grouped together by type, so you will find Regal Shards near the Regal Orb, Transmutation Shards near the Transmutation Orb slot, and so on. You can place all of your Currencies into this tab without worrying about maxing it out thanks to a 5000 max for each type, and Shards will automatically combine to create their full Currency automatically.

It can take a little bit of time to get used to the UI, but once you learn where everything is, upgrading, modifying, and otherwise using PoE 2 currencies becomes significantly faster. It does cost a relatively high 75 Points, but it’s worth it for one of the best organization tools in the game.
