Anticipation for version 1.4 of Zenless Zone Zero has continued to rise, and it’s clear that HoYoverse is using this upcoming update as an almost soft reboot of the game as it not only adds in more highly anticipated content, including ending the overarching narrative, but also including plenty of quality of life updates as well.
For many fans, the biggest part Zenless Zone Zero‘s Version 1.4 update are the limited-time banners, which will include two characters at the same time for the entire length of the update. First up is Hoshimi Miyabi, the current Void Hunter, who is a Frost Anomaly Agent that is adept at using her sword and hitting for big damage. The second agent, Electric Attacker Asaba Harumasa can switch between bow and blade. Better yet, he’ll be available for free as a thank you from the developer.

With Ray Tracing, Zenless Zone Zero will have much improved reflections for things like mirrors, water surfaces, puddles on the ground, and other metallic or glossy style surfaces. HoYoverse also confirmed they’ve taken advantage of the PlayStation 5 Pro power to further improve rendering light in darker areas, adding occlusion effects between objects, while also supporting HDR and VRR for better rendering and tessellation.

Vibration feedback has been improved for different combat actions like Basic or Special attacks, which allow players to feel a more nuanced tactile experience while playing.
