For the King 2 and Hunt: Showdown 1896 come as such big surprises because no one really expected more titles to be confirmed for the Xbox Game Pass December 2024 lineup. After all, the Wave 1 announcement came with the confirmation of some of the games that would be joining Game Pass in early January 2025. While subscribers still don’t know the full scope of Xbox Game Pass games coming in January 2025, they know that Carrion is joining the service on January 2, while Road 96 will be added on January 7. Notably, both Carrion and Road 96 were previously available on Xbox Game Pass, but were eventually removed from the service.
