A Call of Duty leaker has revealed in-game files that seem to suggest a new crossover between Black Ops 6 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is in the works. Activision previously collaborated with the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise back in 2023 for Modern Warfare 2, but it looks like the two will be coming together once again for a new collaboration within Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
There’s no denying that Fortnite remains the king of crossovers, but Call of Duty has been attempting to go toe-to-toe with Epic Games as it continues to ramp up its unexpected collaborations. Activision recently confirmed that it would be teaming up with Netflix to release new Squid Game skins in Black Ops 6 and Warzone in January 2025. The announcement also stated that the collaboration would be bringing new limited-time modes to multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone in-season. As the Season 1 Reloaded update has now been and gone, fans can likely expect the crossover with Season 2.

Call of Duty Leak Points Toward New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Crossover
According to COD Warfare, a reliable data miner and leaker in the Call of Duty community, a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover could be in the works. Over on Twitter, the leaker posted a screenshot of four new melee weapons discovered in the game’s files. These melee weapons are a skateboard, katanas, sais, nunchakus, and bostaff. Although there is no direct reference to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the files, these are all incredibly unique weapons that make regular appearances in the franchise. Given that a popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villain joined Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as a playable operator back in 2023, a second collaboration seems like a strong possibility.
Although the addition of new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cosmetics hasn’t been confirmed by Activision, they likely won’t go down well with fans. Recent years have seen the Call of Duty franchise add more and more unique operator skins and weapon blueprints, but fans have been making it clear that they aren’t happy with Black Ops 6‘s unrealistic operator skins this year. With Black Ops 6 being set in the 90s, fans were hoping for a more grounded approach with its cosmetic items, but that has most certainly not been the case and, if leaks are to be believed, could be about to get even wilder.
Despite the continued controversy surrounding its cosmetics, Black Ops 6 has been a massive success for the Call of Duty franchise. According to publisher Activision, Treyarch Studios’ newest entry in the Black Ops series has broken some huge launch records for Call of Duty. In a post on Twitter, the studio revealed that Black Ops 6 has had the highest number of total players, hours played, and total matches in the first 30 days of any Call of Duty game. An impressive accomplishment for a series that is now over twenty years old.
