James Yang, Senior Director of Global Esports at Level Infinite, said that the game will spend $10M for the grassroots level of PUBG Mobile Esports. The amount will be spent on various PUBG Mobile Esports prize pools, third-party tournament incentives, female-focused events, and more.
The recent success of the Ultimate Royale ranked mode brought massive success and amateur players into the competitive limelight. So, the game decided to work on this more. So, the upcoming year will see more than 20 regional tournaments across Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Americas. Players will be competing for a spot in the PMSL and PMGO.
PMGO returns with PMGC 2025 taking place in Thailand
