If you’ve been encountering some problems during the Path of Exile 2 launch, you’re not alone. The Diablo 4 and Last Epoch rival has been highly anticipated for some time, and now that it’s finally here it unfortunately hasn’t launched without issues. Between crashes, queues, and errors when claiming Steam keys, the ARPG’s first day was anything but smooth. Now that appears to have eased off, though, so developer Grinding Gear Games has outlined the biggest obstacles it is now overcoming.
Now that Path of Exile 2 is finally here, the ARPG has been far bigger than any of us expected. GGG is already worried about Path of Exile 2 queues in the wake of one million copies sold, because that number is poised to get even bigger. With early access requiring a $30 minimum bundle at launch, I’m more than certain that when PoE 2 becomes a free Steam game the number of players will skyrocket.
So while you keep an eye on the Path of Exile 2 server status, you should also be aware of the biggest in-game problems Grinding Gear Games is looking into. I’d imagine these high-priority issues will be resolved as soon as possible, but it’s still more than worth making sure you’re in the loop.
Path of Exile 2 high-priority problems
If you’ve been playing PoE2 and running into any of the problems listed below, don’t worry, because Grinding Gear Games has each high on its list of fixes.
- Delayed emails for Verification, Unlock Codes, Password resets etc.
- In-game shop not showing point balance / Cannot purchase Microtransactions
- Endless loading screens sometimes affecting players while in a party.
If you’re still a little unsure about diving in on PoE 2, my colleague Ken has outlined exactly why it’s worth a go in his Path of Exile 2 early access impressions. It’s an easier game for newcomers when compared to the first Path of Exile, and also embraces a soulslike approach to combat – so is perfect to try after Elden Ring.
As you begin your PoE 2 journey we’ve got all the perfect Path of Exile 2 builds you want to try, alongside a breakdown of all the Path of Exile 2 classes as well.
