There are several couples in the Valley, but none are as festive as Jack Skellington and Sally. Once they’re finally reunited, Sally needs help connecting with her long-lost love again. It’s up to you to create a perfect date night for both of them in the Forgotten Lands.
How To Grow Deadly Nightshade
To unlock this friendship quest, you’ll need to reach friendship level two with Sally. When you do, she’ll tell you about how grateful she is that you and Jack managed to bring her back to the Valley, though she’s having trouble getting back into the swing of things.
Sally asks if you can help her craft a perfume to make her feel confident. She’s been trying to grow Deadly Nightshade on her own, but it just won’t work. After handing you a bundle of ten seed packets, you’ll have to go plant them.
It takes 15 minutes for the Deadly Nightshade to grow!
Once it’s ready to harvest, bring all the Deadly Nightshade to Sally so she can complete her perfume.
How To Find Night Shards For Jack
Afterwards, Sally asks you to find Jack and talk to him. You’ll have a slightly awkward conversation with him, as he’s swept up in his experiments, but he tells you that Sally has misplaced her beloved sewing needle.
He’d be over the moon if you could help him get the materials to make her a new one. For that, you’ll have to dig up two Night Shards. Keep an eye on the ground for sparkling dirt mounds, then use your shovel on them.
With two Night Shards in your inventory, bring them to Jack, then follow to watch him and Sally start their date!
How To Create The Perfect Date For Jack And Sally
While the date doesn’t go as planned, Sally won’t give up just yet. Find Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, then ask for romantic advice to create the perfect date for Jack and Sally. With the help of these two romance-loving ladies, you can’t go wrong!
To set up the perfect date, you’ll need to set the stage and cook the right meals for the spooky lovebats. Below are the recipes you need to make for snacks:

After you’ve prepped the meals, decorate the Forgotten Lands around the Holiday Tree-Portal with the following decorations to set up a new and frighteningly lovely date for Jack and Sally:
- Two outdoor furniture pieces.
- Three Halloween furniture pieces.
- Four black furniture pieces.
Once the whole thing is set up, bring the meals to Sally. Accompany her to meet Jack at the site, then watch as they reconnect over common interests.
All that’s left to do is take a commemorative photo with them both using the picnic set Sally gives you. Talk to her when you’re done to wrap up the quest and earn additional friendship points with her.
