Every Pixar Series Without a Character in Disney Dreamlight Valley So Far

On top of the characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios that Disney Dreamlight Valley has included on its character roster, the game has added several characters from Pixar Studios since its release in 2022. Despite the roster consistently and continuously expanding, a few key characters and franchises from Pixar are still missing from Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Only five Pixar franchises and films have characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley. These include Mike Wazowski and Sulley from Monsters, Inc., Remy from Ratatouille, Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, WALL-E and EVE from WALL-E, and Merida from Brave. Despite many franchises and films missing characters, a few still have items in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Pixar Films and Franchises with Items but No Characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Finding Nemo

Marlin, Dory, and Nemo have yet to swim into Disney Dreamlight Valley. Nevertheless, the Finding Nemo franchise appears in the game through furniture, clothing, and motifs. The franchise’s only piece of furniture is the Manta Ray Mobile. Two pieces of clothing, the “Friend to the Divers” Crop Jacket and the Octo-bomber were added through The Wonder of Pixar Star Path. This Star Path also added motifs of Dory and Hank, a sea turtle, and a trio of otters.

The Incredibles

The Incredibles may be a super family, but Disney Dreamlight Valley has yet to deem them super enough to join its character roster. However, the franchise has inspired several items in the game. Two pieces of furniture, the Elasticycle and a Mr. Incredible Retro Suit Display is available. Players can also wear a High-Boot or a Low-Boot Incredibles Suit, an Incredibles Super-Mask, a Frozone Glider, or an Incredible Umbrella. The Pixar Fest Star Path also added three motifs inspired by The Incredibles including the super family’s logo, Edna Mode, and Jack-Jack. This Star Path also included the IncrediSquirrel as an animal companion.

Cars

Characters from the Cars franchise are also missing from Disney Dreamlight Valley. Items inspired by Lightning McQueen and the town of Radiator Springs are available in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The game features three furniture items based on the franchise, including a McQueen Racing Bed, a Piston Cup, and The V8 Cafe. The Pixar Fest Star Path added one piece of clothing, the Lightning McQueen Racing Jacket, and three motifs inspired by Light McQueen, his racing number, and a Piston Cup emblem.

Up

Like the Finding Nemo and Car franchises, Up has no characters in the game but has inspired several motifs and pieces of furniture and clothing. As part of the Pixar Fest Star Path, two pieces of furniture, the “Adventure Is Out There!” Balloon Basket and the Fredricksen Fireplace, and two motifs inspired by the Ellie badge and the Fredricksen house, were added to the game. Additionally, a Junior Explorer Outfit made up of a cap and uniform is available for purchase in the Premium Shop. Players can also buy a Junior Wilderness Explorer Backpack and a Kevin Costume Onesie inspired by Up in this shop.

Disney Dreamlight Valley teased its upcoming Frost and Fairies Star Path with a cryptic message that could introduce new franchises to the game.

Inside Out

The Inside Out franchise has plenty of items in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but no official characters. Furniture items inspired by the franchise include the Lance Slashblade Statue, a Bing Bong Candy Stand, an Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, the Memory Display Partition, a Quirky Retro Couch, and Bing Bong’s Wagon. Players can wear four different emotion inspired bracelets, including the Anxiety Emotion Bracelet, the Embarrassment Emotion Bracelet, the Ennui Emotion Bracelet, and the Envy Emotion Bracelet. The Wonder of Pixar Star Path featured four motifs inspired by Inside Out, featuring the first film’s various emotions and Bing Bong.

Coco

No characters from the Land of the Dead have managed to cross into Disney Dreamlight Valley, but many Coco-inspired items have made their way into the game. Furniture items include Coco’s Stage Showstopper, a Burro Piñata, Miguel’s Guitar, and Papel Picados. Players can wear a Skeleton Onesie or a “Live the Music” T-Shirt. The Pixar Fest Star Path included three motifs inspired by Coco, two featuring guitars and one of Miguel in skeleton face paint.

Turning Red

Despite its characters being missing from Disney Dreamlight Valley, Turning Red has a surprising number of items featured in the game. Five pieces of furniture are available, including a Blossoming Cherry Tree, a Panda Carving Wooden Partition, a Red Panda Paper Lantern, a Red Panda Pillar, and a Grinning Red Panda Pillar. Three furniture items, including an All-Terrain Scooter, a Circular Embossed Metal Fireplace, and a Drop Pillar are available. Players can also wear four wigs inspired by the film, like the Blazing Pixie, Blooming Bob, Pompadour in the Cloud, and The Wave, or even change their facial hair with the Blooming Beard and Leafy Mustache. The Wonder of Pixar Star Path also added four motifs inspired by the film.

Pixar Films with No Characters or Items in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Despite being the second feature film released by Pixar, A Bug’s Life isn’t as well remembered today as other early entries in the studio’s history. The same can be said for The Good Dinosaur, which was released in 2015. The absence of characters from these films in Disney Dreamlight Valley can likely be attributed to a lack of modern popularity.

In contrast, Onward,Soul, and Luca were all released between 2020-2021 but lack representation for now. Though these films received positive reception and praise from Pixar fans, the lack of profit from these films may explain why Gameloft has yet to add characters from these projects to Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Two new Pixar original projects, Elio and Hoppers, are expected to hit theaters in 2025 and 2026 respectively. Though not much is known about each film, promotion for these new movies could be implemented through character additions in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Gameloft may have a long way to go before all of Pixar’s films have characters in the game, but all these films at the very least deserve to have items in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
