Black Ops 6 Intel Might Be Teasing Fourth Zombies Map

Black Ops 6 Intel Might Be Teasing Fourth Zombies Map

Key Takeaways

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 fans have found some intel that includes a photo that could possibly be teasing the next Zombies map.
  • In the photo, we can see a fairly familiar dig site, leading some to believe this could be a remake of either Dig or Origins.
  • We can also see that the photo has been taken during the daytime, which some think means the map itself will be set at the same time.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been pretty well-received overall so far, but one of the biggest highlights has to be the Zombies mode. We already have a few fantastic maps in Liberty Falls, Terminus, and the newly released Citadelle Des Morts, but developer Treyarch doesn’t show any sign of slowing down any time soon.

In fact, fans already believe that Treyarch has slipped a little teaser for the next Zombies map via a photo in some intel. First shared by Twitter user MargwaNetwork, this intel includes a photo of what appears to be a dig site created by Allistair Rhodes. It’s kind of blurry and lacking in detail, but there are a couple of things fans have noticed.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Next Zombies Map Might Be Dig

Even from the grainy photo we have, a lot of fans have pointed out that this dig site shares a lot of similarities with the multiplayer map Dig from Black Ops 2. There is also a theory floating around that this could be a remade version of Origins from Black Ops 2, as that particular dig site is situated in France, as is the most recent map, Citadelle Des Morts.

We can also see that the photo has been taken in the daytime, suggesting that the next map will take place during the day. That’s pretty much all we can glean from this one photo, and we’ll have to wait until Treyarch itself give us more info and teaser before we can come to anything conclusive.

Still, it’s early days right now, and Citadelle Des Morts is less than 24 hours old right now. That hasn’t stopped people from figuring out the map’s Easter egg though, which was solved literally hours after its release. There have been claims that it was solved so quickly thanks to a bunch of datamining, though that would be fairly tricky to prove. Maybe Black Ops 6 players are just built different?

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.

The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.

In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.

Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
