Black Ops 6 Zombies features immense power within the hilts of four Elemental Swords in Citadelle des Morts, and here’s how to get them all.

Yet, with 4 swords to claim in Citadelle des Morts, which of them is the best in terms of how to get it and the abilities that it wields? All Swords in Citadelle des Morts have their moments of great power, but only one can be crowned the very best.

4 Durendal, the Electric Sword

The Stag Sword’s Lightning Beam is a Tad Too Weak

Durendal is perhaps the weakest of the Elemental Swords in Black Ops 6 for a few reasons. While it’s a rather easy Sword to obtain, the fact that players need to spend 500 Salvage on a Shock Charge of a Dead Wire Ammo Mod for one particular step can make it a tad annoying, especially if players are saving up for further upgrades to their guns at the Arsenal. Quest steps aside, Durendal just fails to impress in a few ways.

Harness the power of the gods’ lightning in Black Ops 6 Zombies’ Citadelle des Morts map thanks to the steps needed for the Durendal Electric Sword.

Like all the other Swords, the base damage is great, especially with Melee Macchiato. However, a sword that deals occasional Dead Wire bursts isn’t that great just to stun zombies, and the Special Attack that sees a focused beam of lightning chain to zombies like the Wunderwaffe DG-2 looks great, but it’s incredibly weak, and players’ movements are reduced during this attack that will see Amalgams and Doppelgangers get tickled with little injury.

3 Solais, the Light Sword

The Lion Sword’s Ability Provides Armor, Protection, and Revives Allies

Solais is the Lion Knight’s Sword that can be a tad frustrating to obtain in Citadelle des Morts if players are in a squad, as acquiring it requires the spawning of 4 glowing Parasites that must be killed with the Bastard Lion Sword and then brought to a special door in the Village. Outside of these quest steps, Solais is an extremely competent Sword with a myriad of bonuses.

Restoration of health and armor is made all the easier if players know how to obtain the Solais Lion Sword in Black Ops 6’s Citadelle des Morts map.

Solais will provide players with armor on each kill that they get, meaning they won’t be so reliant on Salvage and Armor drops from zombies to stay in the fight. While the amount of armor repaired isn’t too strong, activating the Special Attack will instantly replenish all armor slots, and if players run into downed allies with this effect active, they will instantly be revived. It’s a great support sword, but armor isn’t too rare thanks to Vulture Aid, and the Special Attack serves more as a medic than it does as a great weapon, as it will barely scratch zombies and Amalgams.

2 Caliburn, the Fire Sword

The Dragon Sword’s Fireballs are Devastating to Hordes and Doppelghasts

Caliburn is most definitely the easiest of the Swords to obtain so long as players know what to do. The quest involves finding three burning pyres and then carrying their flame to a dragon statue. The only real risk of this quest comes from the 15 HP damage per second when holding the fire, but it can be easily managed just by killing zombies. With a Sword that can be obtained within 2 minutes, Caliburn already impresses.

Wield the power and flame of a dragon with the Caliburn Sword in the Black Ops 6 Zombies’ Citadelle des Morts map thanks to these easy steps.

Where the true strength of Caliburn lies within its Special Attack, as although it’s nice to have a sword that can deal Napalm Burst damage to zombies, it’s even nicer to have an attack that acts like the fiery breath of a dragon, as the Special Attack unleashes 3 fireballs that will explode with mass devastation. This impacting effect is great on lower rounds, but players need to watch out for the splash damage unless they have PhD Flopper. While on the 30+ rounds it might seem less effective, it’s still a great way to knock down zombies and clear a path.

1 Balmung, the Dark Sword

The Raven Sword’s Unleashes a Mini-LT53 Kazimir

The best Sword in Citadelle des Morts is arguably the Balmung Sword. While some players might struggle with the quest, it’s easy to learn once players memorize the necessary codes, to which there are only 5 sets in total, and after that, they’re practically ready to claim the Balmung for themselves. This Raven Sword is intense, oozing with dark magic just waiting for rotting zombies to feast on.

The Raven Sword code in Black Ops 6’s Citadelle des Morts map may seem like a complex puzzle, but the solution could never be easier than it is here.

The true benefit of the Balmung sword lies within its attack pattern, which will sometimes use a Shadow Rift Ammo Mod to teleport zombies to their deaths. The greatest attribute of the Balmung Sword is its Special Attack, which will open a tear in the Dark Aether that will suck in zombies and instantly kill them. This effect is like a smaller LT53 Kazimir, but it’s extremely powerful in the high rounds, and can be used to distract zombies while players revive a teammate or simply get themselves out of a corner.
