Wyll – Has A Strong Sense Of Duty
Wyll may be quite stubborn, but that’s because he’s ingrained with a sense of responsibility to do what’s right at any cost. His desire to do the work doesn’t come from ambition, and we see that from how instead of feeling pride from saving a boy in need, he felt anger that he and others are in danger at all.
He’s also willing to either give up his or his father’s life, if it meant protecting the greater good. Unlike some companions, he’s willing for the group to go out of their way to help those in need. From him, you can expect a man who will put his duties as a partner before his own desires.

Gale – A Romantic And A Friend
Gale is one of the companions you meet who will act friendly right off the bat. He does not push you away like the others do, and will instead welcome you to get to know him and will even excitedly teach you how to use magic.

As a lover, Gale may come off as awkward with some strange choices in wording his flirtations, but he goes all out when it comes to displays of affection. He’s a true romantic who constantly treats you to grand and magical gestures of love when he can.

Lae’zel – Headstrong But Open-Minded
Lae’zel has strong beliefs and to say that she’s proud of her culture is an understatement. The wonderful thing about her is as you journey together, she learns to be more accepting of Faerun’s strange ways, and she can rescind her loyalty to Vlakiith if she learns the truth about her.
In a relationship, having someone like Lae’zel who’s willing to change for the better despite how deep their beliefs were before, shows strength of character and a companionship that can truly grow and blossom.

Halsin – A Selfless Hunk
While Halsin may be ferocious in his bear form when you first meet him, underneath all the fur is a gentle and selfless soul. Throughout your journey together, you’ll find that Halsin approves of doing what’s best for others, be it lending them a comforting shoulder or standing to fight for them. He only gets upset when meaningless cruelty and injustice is being done around him.
You see his selfless nature when he accepts the tieflings into Emerald Grove and when he joins you to save the Shadow-cursed Lands. Even as a lover, he is a gentleman who makes sure you’re comfortable with everything in your relationship, especially when he wants a rather wild one.

With such an intimidating personality, coupled with a nature that’s quite dark, you’d expect to have trouble with aligning your values with Minthara. Surprisingly, her respect for you outweighs any disapproval she may feel for your choices.

Instead of wallowing in self-pity, she brings life anywhere she is with fiery energy, drive, and compassion. Yes, she hates that her days are numbered, but she doesn’t let that stop her from giving the brightest smiles and the warmest hugs.

Astarion – Doesn’t Let Baggage Hold Him Back
Astarion’s past is a heavy one, and one can’t blame him if its weight keeps him from moving forward. What’s truly admirable about him is that instead of running away, he wants to challenge the very person who put him down.
