Like the films that came before it, Indiana Jones And The Great Circle doesn’t shy away from the supernatural. One of the most interesting mysteries you’ll find in Gizeh involves a haunted tomb. The Nazis are too scared to investigate it, but of course, Dr. Jones is no coward.

Hands-On With Indiana Jones and The Great Circle: More Dishonored Than Wolfenstein
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is MachineGames’ first first-person adventure game, and it’s not what you think it is.
You’ll need a special key to access the haunted tomb, so if you’ve found the gate and you’re not sure where to find the key that opens it – or vice-versa – we’ve got you covered.
How To Start The Haunted Crypt Mystery
This quest begins in the restricted area just north of the Worker’s Camp in the southeast corner of the map, close to where you first enter Gizah. The restricted area is the small Nazi camp surrounded by a barbed wire fence. You can enter this area by crawling through a hole in the fence on the back right side, or if you already have the Wehrmacht Uniform from the Knuckle Duster Den quest, you can walk right in the front and the Nazis will ignore you. To start the quest, enter the tent in the middle.
As soon as you enter the tent you’ll find three items on the table: a mystery note called Haunting Report, a Tomb Photograph, and a Haunted Tomb Key. The Haunting Report explains that there’s a tomb west of the worker’s camp that’s rumored to be cursed. The entrance has been sealed up, hence the need for the key. Grab all three items and leave the restricted area.
Before leaving the area, don’t forget to check the other tent. Inside you’ll find some cash, some ammo, and a medicine bottle.
How To Find The Haunted Tomb
If you’re near the worker’s camp, the entrance to the haunted tomb isn’t far. Turn right out of the restricted area and you’ll see a red flag in the air, just past the Nazi checkpoint in the road below. That’s the marker that will lead you to the tomb entrance.
You’ll find the locked gate in a small excavation site just west of the worker’s camp. If you picked up the Haunted Tomb Key in the restricted area, you can use it to unlock the gate and enter the tomb. As soon as you open the gate you’ll start the hear what sounds like restless spirits moaning in the tomb below. No wonder the Nazis were too afraid to go inside.
Of course, it was all a ruse. When you reach the bottom of the tomb you’ll find that the sounds are coming from a radio, as well as the Spy’s Note, which explains that a spy called ‘N’ hid a artifact in the tomb and used the ghostly sounds to ward off the Nazis. Grab the note and the nearby Ancient Relic. Reading the note will complete this Mystery. With nothing left to do in this ‘haunted’ tomb, crawl back out and continue your adventure.

Like most mysteries, you don’t actually need all of the notes to complete this quest. All you need is the Haunted Tomb Key and the Spy’s Note you find in the tomb to check this off. Of course, if you find the key it very unlikely you won’t find the Haunting Report and Tomb Photograph too, since they’re all on the same table.
