Where To Find Every Note At Marshall College In Indiana Jones And The Great Circle

Indiana Jones And The Great Circle drops you straight into the action with a dangerous intruder and a mysterious burglary. As tempting as it might be to rush through the prologue at Marshall College and get right to the globetrotting, whip-cracking adventure you’ve been waiting for, it’s worth taking a few minutes to explore the Archaeology Department – especially if you’re a longtime Indy fan.

How Many Times Does Indiana Jones Actually Use The Whip?

Indiana Jones relies on his whip to save the day, but how often does the action icon actually use it?

There are ten collectibles to find throughout the building, and you’ll only get them all if you take the time to explore and keep your eyes open. It’s good practice for what lies ahead, too.

You can return to Marshall College during normal gameplay from the Journal.

Classroom

The lecture for Indy’s Archaeology class – recreated in exacting detail from its appearance in Raiders of the Lost Ark – is located on the second floor. Facing away from the railing overlooking the museum, take the door on your right and go down the hall; the classroom is just before the stairs.

Don’t forget to collect the apple on the corner of the professor’s desk as well.

Bjorkman’s Letter

A letter to Indy from Bjorkman regarding the lost Uppsala Scroll is on the stool in the corner by the window, next to the blackboard.

Cat Mummy Notes

The most important notes to collect in the classroom are Indy’s findings on the stolen cat mummy. They’re on his desk, front-and-center if you stand behind it where Indy would be if he was teaching the class.

Shirley’s Letter

The student who was flirting with Indy in Raiders still hasn’t given up – she’s left a note for him on her desk, the seat closest to the window in the front row, a year later.

Hallways

You’ll have to explore the corridors on both floors of the building to find these collectibles.

Baseball Card

Leave the classroom and go directly across the hall. Follow the corridor until you see a library cart on the left side, near the end; there’s a baseball card on the cart that you can take.

Giant’s Pendant

This is a required item to progress the story. After you replace the artifacts in the museum, lift the bookshelf in the reception area. Climb it to reach the pendant hanging from the window that the intruder dropped as he fled.

Faculty Card

In the reception area, where you climb the bookshelf to get the Giant’s Pendant, look on the desk for Indy’s Faculty ID.

Strange Aeons #1

The second-floor student lounge, near where you find the baseball card, has a comic book on a table between two green couches. If you get lost, look for the chess club setup near the railing overlooking the museum.

There have been a lot more Indiana Jones games than Lucasarts fans remember.

Janitor’s Closet

The Janitor’s Closet is across the hall from the Infirmary, on the first floor. You can easily reach it by going through the side door from the museum after replacing the artifacts that were taken from their displays.

Campus Overview

The Campus Overview serves as the area map, and can be found on a table just outside the Janitor’s Closet. It’s extremely useful for getting your bearings, so it’s a good idea to collect it first.

Blackshirts Article

Go inside the Janitor’s Closet and look on the shelves at the rear, on the left side. You’ll find a newspaper clipping about the Blackshirts in Italy, whom you’ll be encountering very soon.

Indy’s Office

The final note at Marshall College is unmissable, since you must collect it to continue on to the Vatican.

Cat Mummy Photograph

While you’re packing the suitcase, get the Cat Mummy Photograph from the bulletin board next to the closet where the bullwhip is stashed. You can’t collect it until it’s time to pack, though you can inspect it before then.
