The Esports World Cup has announced the latest addition of Ubisoft’s FPS game title, Rainbow Six Siege, for its 2025 edition.

Esports World Cup confirms Rainbow Six Siege for the 2025 edition
Rainbow Six Siege will be making its return to the tournament taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during the Summer of 2025.
This year, the tournament saw the top 16 teams compete for a share of the $2m prize pool. The tournament also gave key Club Championship Points, as the top teams were able to earn another share from an additional $20m prizepool.
While the EWC still hasn’t revealed the prizepool for the upcoming edition, we should expect similar numbers, especially given the results achieved by the esports ecosystem, both from a financial but also viewership perspective. The Six Invitational tournament peaked at 521,374 viewers, according to the esports data platform Esports Charts, and a new esports revenue program was revealed last month, provide a percentage of pro-team bundles to the 20 partner teams.
EWC expanding its list of titles for 2025
Ubisoft’s FPS shooter is the seventh game title announced for the 2025 competition. It joins the likes of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Honor of Kings, Free Fire, Street Fighter 6, and Dota 2.
Despite having record-breaking prize pools and strong financial incentives for teams, the Esports World Cup Foundation, the organizers of the EWC, has previously faced criticism from several industry stakeholders due to the backing of the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF).
