Does Path of Exile 2 have controller support?
Yes, Path of Exile 2 has controller support from day one. Even better than that, gamepad users can expect robust compatibility that allows you to enjoy the full PoE 2 experience without a keyboard and mouse.
The ARPG plays like a twin-stick shooter when you utilize a controller, with the left stick controlling movement, and your abilities and attacks bound to the triggers and face buttons.
In an interview with Polygon, Path of Exile 2 creative director, Jonothan Rogers, explained in regards to the PoE 2 Steam Deck: “Because we’ve got much better controller support than what we had in Path of Exile, it’ll be a much better experience.” Good news all around, then.
