Merry Mayhem is a temporary event that requires you to play Zombies, but if you’re able to spend a few hours fighting armies of undead minions, you’ll walk away with some sweet rewards. Let’s dive into how this event works and cover every reward tied to this short event.
What Is Merry Mayhem?
Merry Mayhem is a Zombies-themed event that runs from December 5 to December 17. Players can unlock XP boosters, exclusive cosmetics, and even a new weapon by earning XP in BO6 Zombies.
Unlike previous events, you can only earn progress through Zombies; Multiplayer and Warzone don’t count.
As you defeat Zombies and complete rounds, you’ll earn progress towards the Merry Mayhem reward track. There are ten tiers of rewards to earn in this event, including the Maelstrom full-auto shotgun. Any XP you earn in Zombies will progress the reward track. To unlock every reward, you’ll need to earn a total of 618,000 XP in Zombies.

There are ten tiers of rewards you can earn in Merry Mayhem Some tiers include multiple rewards, such as a Zombies unlock and a Double XP Token. In total, there are 14 rewards you can earn, one of which is the new Maelstrom shotgun. It’s also worth noting that the final reward in the pass, the Scour Drill weapon blueprint, can only be unlocked by Blackcell owners.
