Just like other Hero Shooter games, Marvel Rivals has its own line of alternative skins for its huge cast of heroes and villains. These will change their appearances (and sometimes even their skills) drastically and can usually be obtained through the in-game store or through its Battle Pass after reaching a certain number of matches.
While this is the usual method, certain skins are given away through promotional events, which is the case for Peni Parker’s VEN#M skin. You can get it for free if you manage to fulfill a simple-not-so-simple requirement.
Where To Claim The Marvel Rivals Peni Parker Venom Bundle
To get Peni’s skin for free, you need to have an active Playstation Plus subscription. Players can claim the S0 Bundle through the Playstation Store to immediately add the skin to their accounts. The full bundle includes the following:
- Peni Parker VEN#m Skin
- Peni Parker “Going Crazy” MVP animation
- VEN#m Nameplate
- VEN#m Spray
- 300 Chrono Tokens
In other words, this is an exclusive reward for Playstation players. If you happen to be one of these, don’t forget to also claim the Scarlet Spider skin for Spider-Man, unique to Playstation users. It’s possible that more bundles will become available for free in the future.
As Marvel Rivals currently has no Crossplay progression available, you cannot claim the bundle if you play on any other platform. You still need an active Playstation Plus subscription, or you won’t be able to claim it either.
Once you claim the bundle, launch the game, and you’ll be able to equip Peni with her new visuals in the Heroes tab. You can also swap through available skins during character selection, directly below the character’s name.
How To Get The Peni Parker Venom Skin Outside Playstation
If you don’t own a Playstation 5 or doesn’t want to subscribe to Plus just for this bundle, you can buy it from the in-game Store. The Venom skin alone costs 1,400 Units, while the full bundle goes for 1,600 Units. Additionally, the in-game bundle includes the “Lost Control” emote for Peni, something not included in the Playstation bundle. It has no Chrono Tokens included, though.
If any other bundle becomes available for free through Playstation Plus, it’s very likely that they’ll also have a store counterpart, so players from other platforms will always have to pay for these. It is currently unknown if Net Ease has any plans for releasing exclusive skins to other platforms.
