Among the various Strategists you can play, Luna Snow stands out as a beginner-friendly choice. She can deal solid damage while keeping allies healed and has one of the best ultimates in the game. If used correctly, her ultimate can be a game-changer, helping your team secure victory.

Luna Snow Overview

Luna Snow abilities - Marvel Rivals

At first glance, Luna Snow is a stylish Strategist who excels at healing allies from any range while dealing decent damage to the enemy team. This means you need to land your shots to heal your allies, but once you do, they receive a good amount of healing, allowing you to keep their HP up from a safe distance.

As a Strategist, you’ll inevitably face flankers, but luckily, Luna Snow has abilities that can heal her own HP and help her win those encounters.

Let’s take a closer look at all of her abilities in the table below.

Attacks

Light And Dark Ice

Luna Snow fires ice shots that deal damage to enemies.

If you target allies, the shots heal them instead.

Abilities

Absolute Zero

Launch a chunk of ice that freezes the enemy it hits and restores Luna’s health.

Share the Stage

Attach an Idol Aura to an ally, allowing them to restore a small portion of health whenever Luna heals other teammates.

Ice Arts

Transform the primary fire to launch ice shards for a short duration.

The ice shards damage enemies or heal allies, while also restoring Luna’s health.

Fate of Both Worlds

Luna’s ultimate ability allows her to start dancing, triggering an area where she can switch between two modes: healing or damage boosting allies.

During the ultimate dance, Luna can freely move and switch between the two modes at will.

Passives

Smooth Skate

Moving forward, Luna starts ice skating, granting a movement boost and allowing her to jump higher.

Cryo Heart

Automatically restore some health when casting Ice Arts or Absolute Zero.

Team-up Abilities

Icy Disco

Namor/Jeff the Land Shark

Luna infuses ice energy into Namor and Jeff the Land Shark.

Frozen Chi

Iron Fist

Adds an ability that allows Luna to emit a ring that launches up enemies, damaging and slowing them down while healing her allies.

Tips And Tricks To Play Luna Snow

Luna Snow overview - Marvel Rivals

In the spawn room, the first thing you should do as a Luna player is check your team and decide who to give the Idol Aura (Share the Stage abilities) to, in order to passively heal them while you heal others.

Depending on your team’s composition, you generally want to give it to the Tank, another Strategist, or someone who is flanking or fighting from a distance.

This allows them to keep restoring HP because, for the majority of the time you play Luna, you’ll be healing other allies. Therefore, granting them passive healing is important for their survival.

Don’t worry, you can always switch the Idol Aura between allies when necessary, and this ability has no cooldown.

Luna’s Smooth Skate is perfect for mobility. While it doesn’t always give you enough time to escape an enemy ambush, it helps you get back to your teammates quickly. You can also use the jump function to reach higher ground and continue healing from a safe distance.

As mentioned before, you’ll face flankers, given how useful Luna can be. If you find yourself in a 1v1 situation, start by using Ice Arts, which guarantees that you’ll heal yourself after dealing damage. The ice shards also have larger hitboxes and infinite ammo for the duration of the skill activation, so don’t get cheap with them and spam them.

If you’re confident, you can try launching Absolute Zero to freeze the enemy and deal quick damage.

In addition to that, Absolute Zero is a perfect ability to shut down enemy abilities and ultimates, but timing is key – otherwise, it’s wasted.

Playing with Luna doesn’t restrict you from staying close to your allies, especially if you have good aim. Feel free to scan the area and ping any enemies trying to flank.

The best part about Luna’s kit is her ultimate, which is arguably the best ultimate in the Strategist category and one of the best in the game.

It grants a very high healing output to any allies within its range, and you can switch to damage mode once they’re at full health to help win the fight. Alternatively, you can use it to shut down ultimates or make them go to waste, such as Mantis, Luna, Rocket Raccoon, Psylocke and so on.

But you have to time your ultimate correctly to contest or turn the tide of the fight; otherwise, it will go to waste.
