Where to Pay Off Loan in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete

animal crossing pocket camp complete loan app

In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, you can pay loans from anywhere. Tap the “four square” icon located above your planner in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Select the Loan app with the OK Motors logo.

The Loan Installment is broken into two sections:

  • The amount of Bells you have.
  • The Amount to Pay.
  • The Loan Balance.

You can pay in increments of 1000, 5000, or 10000 Bells. Tapping the sections with the Bell amount will add currency to the “Amount to Pay” line. Hit the Pay now. button to put the money towards the loan.

When your loan is paid off, you should warp to OK Motors and speak to Giovanni. You can then put in another loan for the next upgrade. Unfortunately, you won’t be told upfront what the cost of the interior upgrade is until after they’ve finished the installments. This can potentially catch you off guard with a hefty payment if you choose to keep expanding the interior.

Customizing vs. Expanding

Your camper can be upgraded at OK Motors. Speak to Giovanni, who’s standing right next to your camper. You can then choose to Customize my camper!, which changes the outside look, or Expand the interior!.

  • If you choose “Customize my camper!”, you’ll then be prompted to select “New style or paint job!” or “Special paint job!”. The style of the camper is free, but the special painting will cost you Leaf Tokens instead of Bells.
  • If you choose “Expand the interior!”, Giovanni will tell you what will be done on the camper. “Expand the interior!” can’t be paid with Leaf Tokens. Instead, you’ll take out a loan.

What Happens If You Don’t Pay Your Loan?

Do Loans Accrue Interest in Pocket Camp?

animal crossing pocket camp complete loan

Unlike in real life, your loans in Pocket Camp Complete won’t accrue interest. You can take as long as you need paying off the loan in full. However, when you have a loan due, you won’t be able to upgrade your camper until it’s paid off.

If you’re struggling to collect Bells, then you should see if you have any Buncha Bells or Bells maps for Blathers’s Treasure Trek. You’ll have to pay with materials to move along the map, but if you have Leaf Tokens, then you can choose Auto-Trek. This will allow you to pick up every Bells bag on the map. The cost to clear a Bells map is 3 Leaf Tokens, so if you have tokens to spare, you should put them towards Blathers’s Treasure Trek.

Other ways to earn Bells is to level up your Friendship with the other villagers, or completing Requests. You can also collect Bells from the Goals.

Use Pete’s Parcel Service to complete quests in bulk. This will save you from having to warp around

to speak with the animals one-on-one.

Generally, you should refrain from expanding the interior of the camper until you have close to the number of Bells for the expansion. While it’s true there’s no harm in taking your time paying off the loans in Pocket Camp Complete, you’ll want to get rid of the loan if you plan to have a fully upgraded camper.
