Marvel Rivals is not a First-Person Shooter, but you need a good FPS to play it…Wait, what?
Whether you’re playing a quick match or a competitive game, you might encounter players with their mic on who aren’t contributing vocally to the match, and you may want to mute them. However, if you’ve searched through the game settings and couldn’t find an option to automatically mute all players at the start of a match, this guide will show you how to do it.
How To Mute Players
How To Mute Players On PC
Muting players in Marvel is a straightforward process, but it’s not immediately obvious, and the game doesn’t provide instructions on how to do it.
Once you start a match, no matter the mode, press the P key on your keyboard to open the Match settings menu. Here, you’ll see a list of all players in the match, including both your teammates and the enemy team.
To mute a player, look to the right of their name, where you’ll find various icons. Hover over the mic icon next to the player’s username and click it to mute them.
If you want to unmute them later, just click the mic icon again, and you’re all set.
How To Mute Players On Console
The steps for console players are similar, but to access the Match settings menu, you need to start a match and then press the options/start button. This will bring up a menu with multiple options.
Click on Settings, and you’ll see a screen displaying all players in the match. Just like on PC, find the mic icon next to the player you want to mute and click on it.
In this menu, you can also mute yourself by clicking the mic icon next to your username.
