Players must obtain 20 Tricky Patches if they hope to complete the Purify! The Scent in the Cavern quest, as that is that quantity that is required to craft the Traveler’s Musings. Fans will also need an Herbal Scent and 50 Threads of Purity if they hope to make that Whim Fragrance.

Infinity Nikki: Tricky Patch Location
Tricky Patches have a chance to be awarded upon dispatching Spear Sacks, enemies that can be found in the area between the Memorial Mountains and Florawish and among the ruins to the north of Florawish. These two areas have been marked on the following map, and Infinity Nikki players will encounter groups of enemies as they walk through them.
Those groups will occasionally contain enemies that look like sacks with spears on the top, and, indeed, those are the Spear Sacks that award Tricky Patches. Upon locating a Spear Sack, players should simply use Nikki’s Purify ability to defeat it, and they may find that they have received a Tricky Patch when the job is done.
Players are likely to encounter other sack-type monsters when pursuing Tricky Patches. In fact, they may find that
Sad Sacks
and Sankious are much more common than Spear Sacks, and those enemies award Brokenheart Patches and Struggled Patches when purified.
If, after clearing out the enemy groups in these two areas, a player still needs more Tricky Patches, it is recommended that they spend some time questing and pursuing other activities in Infinity Nikki. This will give Spear Sacks an opportunity to respawn, making it possible to purify them again and obtain additional Tricky Patches.
To note, players who do not want to wait for Spear Sacks to respawn can also try checking the area to the southwest of Breezy Meadow. For the uninitiated, Breezy Meadow is just south of Florawish, and Spear Sacks occasionally appear along the river that flows out of the area. This can be quite a trek, though, and fans of dress-up games may not want to make it solely to obtain Tricky Patches.
