After all, his role as a teacher at UA was certainly shocking to many. My Hero Academia chapter 431 addresses that and, at the same time, also gives fans another proper glimpse of Pro Hero Deku heading out in full suit armor.
How Deku Became A Hero Once Again At The End Of My Hero Academia
- Deku lost the power of One For All at the end of MHA
- Bakugo and the other students funded a Hero armor for Deku
It is safe to say that Deku was one of the greatest heroes in the world of My Hero Academia. Having been given the burden of One For All by All Might, Deku got to live out his dream by becoming a hero. Using the power of One For All, Deku was able to save countless lives all over Japan, most importantly, he got to keep evil in check. Deku fought against many powerful villains and triumphed over the vast majority of them. His destiny is to eventually fight All For One, and that certainly did happen in the Final War. Deku versus All For One was a major battle, especially when it happened through the body of Shigaraki.
Goodbye, One For All! – Deku
Unfortunately, Deku, despite wanting to save and help Shigaraki, was not able to do so, but, at the very least, he got rid of All For One for good. In the process, he also gave up the power of One For All, returning to his previous Quirkless state. To some fans, this was a good decision by the author, but the vast majority did not like that Deku was quirkless once again, after having worked incredibly hard all his life to be worthy, and because of that, he sought out a new path in life. He became a teacher at UA, as was revealed in the 8-year time skip of My Hero Academia.

In the epilogue of the story, Deku was revealed to be a teacher, and it was also made clear that he had now grown distant to all his other friends. This is largely due to the fact that they were Pro Heroes and were busy with different duties, while Deku was in school teaching bright prospects who held tremendous powers. According to Deku, he could still be a hero and help in whatever little way he could because, to him, the up-and-coming students were the future of the hero society. That said, fans were delighted when, at the end of My Hero Academia, All Might met Deku once again and gave him an armor. This armor was largely paid for by Bakugo, and because of it, Deku was able to become a hero once again, setting out with all the other Pro Heroes.

My Hero Academia Author Horikoshi Confirms He’s Starting A New Series
Horikoshi is the MHA mangaka. With MHA done, Horikoshi will start a brand new manga.
This is where Horikoshi took the opportunity to have Deku don the incredibly powerful armor once again and head to danger immediately. Naturally, again such a powerful bunch, the villain never stood a chance. Fans did not get to see any exciting combat, but a proper look at Deku’s power reveals that he is, at the very least, just as dependable in battle as any other hero. Deku’s new armor showed him keeping up with Bakugo, Todoroki, and other powerful Heroes with ease. This should also not come as a surprise to the fans, largely because it has already been made clear that technology has come a long way in the last 8 years, and the hero armor that Deku is wearing currently is far more advanced than the one that All Might wore, which helped him fight against All For One. This armor is likely strong enough to make Deku one of the most brilliant Heroes of the current era, and that certainly goes to say a lot.
How Strong Is Pro Hero Deku?
Deku Should Be A Top 5 Hero Strength Wise
It is unclear as to how strong Pro Hero Deku is. For one, he isn’t a full-time Hero, which means that he isn’t going to be in the top rankings on the billboard. This makes it somewhat difficult to gauge how strong he truly is. Pro Hero Deku is, at the very least, strong enough to keep up with the others. It must be remembered that All Might, with his armor, became strong enough to fight against All For One. Of course, he was not as strong as him, but he certainly did deal a lot of damage to him and, at the same time, pushed him on the back foot. Of course, much of that is down to the fact that All Might knew what triggered All For One and what his biggest weakness was. But, one absolutely cannot take away the fact that he was incredibly impressive in this fight and took quite a lot of powerful blows from the greatest villain of all time.
The armor that Deku is wearing is far superior to the one that All Might wore. Furthermore, it is likely based on the Quirk power of One For All and all the other abilities that he held. It must also be remembered that Deku has been using his armor quite a lot, which gives it time to adapt, record, and improve its efficiency. The armor that Deku is wearing should be strong enough to see him fight against any top villain, and hold his own. Still, it cannot be said that Deku is the strongest character in My Hero Academia right now. That title likely belongs to the top three strongest, those being Mirio Togata, who is the Number One Hero, Shoto, who is the Number Two Hero, and of course, Bakugo, who, despite being Number 15, could be the strongest of all. But, Deku should still be in the top five, at the very least, and if his powers of One For All are fully replicated, he could even go on to surprise the fans and take a higher position.
