Fallout Season 2 has already started filming, and since then, we’ve had a handful of leaks from behind the scenes. Thanks to the show shooting on location, passersby have come across sets that are very clearly inspired by the game Fallout: New Vegas, giving us a hint as to what we can expect in the next season of the show.
Now, someone has managed to capture a video of what appears to be two of the lead actors on Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins. In the video, we can see their character, Lucy and Cooper/The Ghoul, alongside their dog companion.
Fallout Fan Shared Video Of Season 2 Set
The recording doesn’t give away too many details, but as Reddit user Not_A_Lizhard points out, it does look like the dog messed up the scene here by running off. However, this shows us that the pup, CX404, isn’t going anywhere, and is sticking with The Ghoul and Lucy in the next season.
We can also see that this part of the wasteland is very reminiscent of the Mojave Desert, as it appeared in Fallout: New Vegas. This makes sense, since the first season of the show ended on a shot of New Vegas itself, confirming that the story is taking us there next.
This also lines up with previous set leaks. While they didn’t feature any of the actors on set, they did reveal that the show will have at least one scene in the town of Novac, which is from New Vegas. A further leak of the Novac set included a reference to the Great Khans, so it’s possible that this faction will play a part in Season 2 as well.
At the very least, we know that some of the main cast is on location and filming Fallout Season 2 now. It remains to be seen when the show will be ready to return to our screens, but in the meantime, we can probably expect more behind-the-scenes leaks like this.
