Still, in the right hands, it’s a great backup weapon to damage enemies weak to bolt, which includes most of the kin enemies that will be encountered in the latter stages of the title.

The Stake Driver is a short-ranged, brutal weapon that can drive stakes into its opponents (hence the name, of course). A fully charged R2 attack, in particular, is incredibly powerful, but it’s hard to land because it’s outrageously slow. The Stake Driver is one of the most under-appreciated Trick Weapons in the game, boasting great potential but lacking in comparison to other Strength weapons.

Unfortunately, the attacks in this transformed state are so slow that the player is open to a counter with every single attack. So, players should switch to the sword against faster enemies or be really careful about when they decide to swing this hammer for optimal results. It takes a while for players to get things right, but mastering the Kirkhammer can let players enjoy a dynamic moveset with one of the cooler Strength weapons in Bloodborne.

It’s easily one of the most adrenaline-inducing weapons that players can utilize in the game if they wish. It doesn’t utilize the Strength stat as heavily as some others and has a very limited range, but these are minor complaints in the grand scheme of things.

Before The Old Hunters expansion was released, there wasn’t really a weapon that made effective use of a Strength/Bloodtinge build. The Bloodletter filled this niche in a glorious fashion.

This brutal weapon is obtained from the assassin Brador. Its base form is a short and simple club, but its transformed mode (which the player must activate by sacrificing some HP) has a huge range and damage potential. It even has a great AoE blast attack, but this can also heavily damage the Hunter if they’re not careful with their build! It’s very tough to use and acquired super late in the game, diminishing its value somewhat.

Its transformed mode has incredible reach and an infamous spin-to-win charged move; the player is equipped to take on any of the game’s numerous nasties with this in their hands.

Ludwig’s Holy Blade is usually considered a ‘quality’ weapon, which means that an equal investment in the Strength and Skill stats makes the most of its damage potential (which is very high indeed with a lot of quality weapons across Soulsborne titles). Very competent at staggering targets and landing slow, hefty blows, it only loses out because it isn’t as heavy on the Strength stat as some other weapons here.

The untransformed mode can stunlock most single enemies and specializes in single-target enemies, while the transformed mode has an incredibly long reach and can slowly whittle down the health of harder enemies while maintaining a safe distance. The transformed scythe form is also great for dealing with groups of enemies, while also dealing high damage. This weapon offers great flexibility against any enemy composition, while still dealing with them effectively with high enough strength.

2 Logarius’ Wheel

An Odd Weapon With A Varied Moveset

Logarius’ Wheel has the highest Strength scaling out of any base game weapon and looks incredibly cool in battle as well, making it an instant favorite for gamers who are playing with a Strength-build character.

While getting this weapon might take a while — unless the player is heartless enough to kill Alfred before his questline is finished — the result is more than worth it. Using a massive wheel to smash opponents is so entertaining that this factor alone makes Logarius’ Wheel one of the best Strength weapons in Bloodborne.

The fact that this move works on those brilliant/pesky bosses as well is one of the biggest reasons why gamers love the Whirligig Saw, and any boss that might be giving the player a tough time (which is most of them) can be taken care of with the greatest ease by utilizing this weapon.
