Amazon revealed its slate of free games for December earlier this week and it was a little slimmer than usual. Still 18 games Prime subscribers can claim at no additional cost, but the monthly total is usually closer to 30. Turns out Amazon was waiting a few days to reveal ten more games Prime subscribers can claim this month as the rest of its free December line-up is made up of games that will be featured in its upcoming Secret Level series.
Secret Level is a 15-episode series that will premiere on Amazon Prime December 10, 2024. Each episode will focus on a different game or series with Pac-Man, Warhammer 40K, Armored Core, and Mega Man some of the subjects making the cut. Amazon won’t be giving away every game featured in Secret Level for free, of course, but it has picked ten, nine of which are available to download and keep right now.

Warhammer is the most heavily featured on the free games list with five video games from its world making the Prime cut. Warhammer 40K: Dawn Of War and Warhammer 40K: Space Marine (the original, not the brand new sequel) are both available to claim now. Dawn Of War’s sequel will join the Secret Level list of free games on December 12.

Since Dungeons & Dragons will be getting its own episode, Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate 2 are also free if you have an active Prime subscription. If you’re an avid fan of Baldur’s Gate 3 and fancy checking out the roots from which the critically acclaimed Game of the Year sprung, there has never been a better chance to check them out. If you’re already signed up to Prime, you can download them without paying a single additional penny right now.
