Fortnite OG is finally coming back, now as a full-time mode. When it returns though, it’ll be the very early Fortnite Season 1, Chapter 1. A bit before a lot of players got involved. The Fortnite OG loot pool might not quite be the set of weapons you think of when you imagine Chapter 1. We’ve now had the full list of guns being featured confirmed for the upcoming season.
With Fortnite OG coming back, Epic has been slowly confirming numerous new features. Including the specific build of weapons and other items, we’re expecting to arrive. One of the most exciting is the original loot pool. The first season of Fortnite was famously made quickly The map is sparse, weapons are weird, and balance isn’t really thought out.
We’re getting the full experience of this when the Fortnite OG Loot pool returns! What guns and weapons can we expect?
Fortnite OG Loot Pool Announced
We’ve got a full list of the weapons we’re expecting to see with the Fortnite OG update. It’s going to directly recreate the earliest parts of the game. Starting with Chapter 1 Season 1, complete with original models and names. These are the weapons that will be featured starting with the first update:
- Assault Rifle
- Burst Assult Rifle
- Scoped Assault Rifle
- Pump Shotgun
- Tactical Shotgun
- Pistol
- Revolver
- Submachine Gun
- Tactical Machine Gun
- Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
- Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle
- Grenade Launcher
- Rocket Launcher
- Damage Trap
- Ceiling Zapper
- Wall Dyanmp
This first set of items is quite an interesting mix. We’ve got the original versions of some guns, like the SMG and Burst AR that only briefly featured before the normal Fortnite versions took over. The grenades also appear to be the weird-looking ones. Pumps are only coming in two rarities, thanks to both having ridiculous damage numbers off the bat. Great I
if you want to double pump without worrying about looting.
It’s fun to see some of the more forgotten early Fortnite items get another outing here. We’re not sure how much the Ceiling Zapper will get played, but it’s fun to see a bit more variety in the game. Chapter 6 weapons are pretty fun too, but it’ll feel different to revisit a simpler time in Fortnite.
