Epic gives away games for free year-round, but it tends to kick things up a notch around the holidays. No sign of its daily giveaway yet like these was over 2023’s Christmas period, but one of the games you can claim and keep through its store right now is a biggie. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available to pick up for absolutely nothing on the Epic Games Store right now, no strings attached.

The Skywalker Saga replaces Brotato which was last week’s free game. Bad news if that was something you had your eye on and you’re only just learning it was being given away for free as it has now returned to its usual price. All you need to do to claim the latest Lego Star Wars game for free is head to its store page on the Epic Games Store, which you’ll find a link to in the box below, and press the big red button that says “Get”.

All Nine Movies In Lego, And You’re The Hero

The Skywalker Saga is usually $49.99, so a pretty significant saving while it’s available for free. One of the bigger Lego games released to date, its campaign lets you play through all nine core Star Wars movies. You can even choose the order you tackle the three trilogies. Start with episode four for a traditional playthrough, kick things off with The Phantom Menace if you like things chronological, or begin with the final trilogy if you’re a monster.

If you already own The Skywalker Saga, or Star Wars isn’t your thing, there is a second game you can claim for free through the Epic Games Store between now and December 12. Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop is also free to claim and keep for anyone who wants to find out if making the buses run on time is as hard as people seem to make it in real life. Amazon has revealed 18 games Prime subscribers can claim for no additional cost throughout December, and some of them are already available. Tomb Raider: Underworld and Quake 2 are already up for grabs, and other big games, Predator: Hunting Grounds among them, will join them throughout the month.
