Amazon Prime is giving its customers an early Christmas present by offering 10 more titles to claim for free through Prime Gaming. The surprise announcement comes as Prime gears up for the December 10 release of Secret Level, an animated show telling short stories set within the world of popular video games. Now, Amazon subscribers can build hype for the series by downloading the games that inspired it for free.
This isn’t the first time Prime subscribers have been able to snag free titles through the service. However, Prime Gaming already announced 18 free games for December 2024 earlier in the month. This round of freebies includes 10 new downloads, all in tribute to the games that Secret Level will explore in its upcoming episodes.

Amazon quietly updated its Prime Gaming homepage to promote Secret Level, showcasing 10 newly free titles on top of the 18 they had announced previously. That includes the first two Baldur’s Gate entries, which stand in for Dungeons and Dragons, as Secret Level will have a D&D episode despite the game being a tabletop RPG, not a video game. Not every game in the show will be available for free, but some — most notably, Warhammer 40,000 — have several titles in the lineup.
New Free Games on Prime Gaming to Celebrate Secret Level
- Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, available through January 8, 2025
- Baldur’s Gate 2, available through January 8, 2025
- Mega Man 11, available through December 31, 2024
- Necromunda: Hired Gun, available through December 19, 2024
- Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition, available through January 8, 2025
- The Outer Worlds, available through March 5, 2025
- Space Hulk: Deathwing Enhanced Edition, available through December 19, 2024
- Spelunky, available through January 8, 2025
- Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, available through December 18, 2024
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, available through December 18, 2024
Most of the new games are available through GOG, like many free titles on Prime, but Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War and Space Marine are playable directly on the Amazon Games App. Meanwhile, Prime subscribers can get Necromunda through the Epic Games Store and play Mega Man 11 on Luna. Some gamers may still not know what exactly Amazon Luna is, but it’s hard to argue about the chance to play a game for free, no matter how obscure the platform may be. For the unfamiliar, Luna is a cloud gaming service, so users stream games instead of downloading and playing them locally.
Fans who were hoping for a chance at playing Sifu for free will have to wait, as that title’s notably absent from the list of Secret Level promotional offers. Also missing, albeit for more obvious reasons, is Concord. Secret Levelwill have a Concord episode, despite Sony suddenly canceling the title. The lineup is great news for Warhammer fans, though, as the series makes up the bulk of the new offerings.
Some of the 10 titles, like The Outer Worlds, are free well into 2025. Others, like Space Marine, will only be available through mid-December, so it’s a good idea to go ahead and download them before time is up.
Amazon
Amazon first began as an e-commerce company that provided customers with books and other media. It has since evolved into a massive company with many subsets, selling products, providing custom content through Prime Video, and even has its own video game development company.
