Pokemon GO: Just My Cup of Tea

As a live-service game, Pokemon GO rotates new in-game seasons every so often, with each one bringing a series of different themes, events, and opportunities for Trainers to go up against and even capture a range of different monsters. The Dual Destiny season, which kicked off in December 2024, brings a bunch of new in-game opportunities for players to participate in and earn rewards, with the Just My Cup of Tea event being one of the first events available.

The Just My Cup of Tea event in Pokemon GO is a tea party-themed event to mark the in-game debut of teacup Pokemon, Sinistea, and its evolution, Polteageist. Throughout this event, players will have the opportunity to participate in and complete Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges to earn rewards and XP, go up against themed Raid Bosses, make the most of available event bonuses, and encounter/obtain a range of Pokemon through various methods. All Featured Pokemon & Bonuses in Pokemon GO’s Just My Cup of Tea Event

In Pokemon GO, the Just My Cup of Tea event takes place between the dates of December 3, at 10 AM local time, and December 7, at 8 PM local time. During this time, players will be able to make the most out of two different event bonuses – 2x friendship bonus damage in Raids, and 50% more Stardust gained from completing Raids. This means that making the most of Raid battles against Mega Banette, Genesect (Chill), Bombirdier, Hisuian Braviary, Galarian Mr. Mime, Frillish, and Sinistea can be very beneficial throughout these dates, so players should keep an eye out for these opportunities.
