As you explore the Storybook Vale in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll uncover more secrets and challenges than you could imagine. It will take a lot of time and effort to fully discover all that the land has to offer, but it’s well worth the wait. Especially when new trials offer insight into Hades and Maleficent’s feud.
The next Mythic Trial that will help you reach Mount Olympus is in the Statue’s Shadow, but you can’t reach it right away. We’ll help you cross that bridge when you get to it and get everything you need ready before diving in head first with the Lord of the Underworld.
How To Unlock The Statue’s Shadow
Before you can start looking for the next Mythic Trial, you’ll have to unlock the Statue’s Shadow region of Mythopia. This area is connected to the Elysian Fields and costs 5,000 Story Magic to unlock.
You can gather this large amount of magic by completing daily duties and Storybook Vale duties, then collecting the Storybook Magic in the Dreamlight menu. Once you have enough, head to the easternmost region of the Elysian Fields and interact with the giant ink wall.
Merida will help you clear the way and you can access the new area, at which point the quest will start immediately.
Once you’ve entered the Statue’s Shadow, head over towards the massive marble statue of Hades to the east. Here, you’ll find a bridge and a lever. Unfortunately, the lever is broken and just across the bridge is the next trial. Go find Hades and talk to him about the next steps.
How To Craft The Pain & Panic Vase
Hades remembers there being two vases of Pain and Panic on the empty pedestals near the lever, but he used them to finish off his statue. You’ll need to craft two new ones to replace the vases he used.
Gather the following materials:
- Marble (10)
- Gold Ingot (4)
- Squid (4)
With all the materials, go to the nearest Crafting Station and put everything together. Return to the bridge and place the vases on the pedestals, then pull the lever.
How To Fix The Bridge
Once you pull the lever, the bridge will rise and you can finally cross over to reach the trial. Use your Royal Net to swat the spinning wheel, which will open the portal to the next Mythic Trial. This concludes the quest and immediately begins the next one.
