You’ll find enemies referred to as Esselings in Infinity Nikki, the most expansive installment of the Nikki series, and your Nikki will need a way to keep herself safe from the dangers that might wait for her around Miraland. Thankfully, she’s able to purify these Esselings with the Wind of Purity outfit.

Does anyone else feel like there’s a Whimstar around every corner?
One of the earlier Miracle Outfits you’ll obtain in Infinity Nikki, the Purity Outfit is essential if you’d like to keep Nikki out of harm’s way as she ventures through Miraland. Combat never gets impossibly hard, but being good at casting your purification spell is still pretty critical.
How To Get The Wind Of Purity Sketch
Not long after obtaining the Floating outfit in the ruins when Nikki and Momo arrive in Miraland for the first time, you’ll be made to use the outfit to float across broken sections of a pathway over water. Just past them is an Esseling in front of a tangled web of vines. As you approach, Nikki mentions that the Purification Outfit would do the trick, but that you must collect two Whimstars before the Heart of Infinity unlocks the Wind of Purity sketch for you, the second of your Miracle Outfits.
After the cutscene with the Esseling, turn right, and you’ll see your very first of these two Whimstars in a gazebo just along the path into the gardens, so head over and grab it. From this gazebo, you’ll need to continue along the path to reach what looks like a dead-end, where you’ll notice some broken boards in the ground. The Whimstar you’re looking for is within a hidden section of the ground just beneath them.
This second Whimstar is your introduction to Momo’s tracking ability, which allows Momo to alert you when he senses a Whimstar someplace in your vicinity. Activate his ability to discover where the Whimstar is – in this case, it’s within the flooring beneath the broken boards on this path – and he’ll track its location with an outline of a Whimstar to help keep you pointed in the right direction.
To get this Whimstar, you’ll need to break the boards concealing them by jumping and dropping onto them with a stronger drop as Nikki. Doing so here allows you access to the lower area with the second Whimstar you need for the Purification outfit. Collecting it triggers a short cutscene of Nikki feeling inspired, and once it’s done, you can open the Heart of Infinity to begin crafting your new sketch, the Wind of Purity sketch.
Unlike the Floating Outfit, though, you’ll need to find a few materials in the nearby area before you can actually craft the Purification Outfit in Infinity Nikki – Momo only had so much stuff on-hand! Thankfully, the things you’ll need are just outside the entrance to this little hidden space, so jump back outside and gather the following collectible items from the garden grounds:
- Three Woolfruit, which you’ll need to shake from the tree near the gate you came through to collect the second Whimstar.
- Two Buttoncones, the small pinecone-like items in the grass just beside the opening to the hidden room.
- Two Daisies, the small white flowers growing near the Buttoncones.
With these items added to your inventory, you can now open the Sketches menu to begin actually crafting the Wind of Purity sketch. Thankfully, what you do have already is the 26 requisite Threads of Infinity, so with every crafting item selected, click the Quick Craft option to craft the Purification Outfit! Its pieces are predominantly considered to be Elegant in style when worn with other outfits, and its base style scores before you upgrade the Purification Outfit later in the game are listed below..
