The incredibly scenic and vibrant world of Infinity Nikki is full of places to explore and there’s plenty to do along your journey throughout Miraland. While you have your fuzzy little sidekick Momo to keep you company, and intriguing characters wait around every corner, a game of such scale may have you feel compelled to bring a friend or two along on your adventures. Infinity Nikki incorporates a stunning variety of features for players to make use of as an up-and-coming stylist, and social features are included among them.
If you plan to enjoy the game with some of your friends, there is a method you can use to connect and stay in touch with them at all times. If you want to try it out, it only requires some basic progression to unlock and understanding of the game’s menu system.

How to Add Friends in Infinity Nikki
When first starting your journey in Infinity Nikki, you’ll quickly notice that there is a lot for you to learn, from unlocking Realm Challenges to acquiring all of the game’s fundamental features. If your friends are diving into Miraland as well and you want to know how to connect to them in-game, you’ll first need to make a bit of story progression. Specifically, you need to do the following objectives first:
- Complete the Prologue in the Memorial Mountains
- Start Chapter 1 and complete the “Embark On An Unknown Journey” quest to reach Florawish
- Visit Dada at the Stylist’s Guild to receive your Pear-Pal (seen above) and pick up the “Land of Wishes” quest
- Leave the Guild building
Once you’ve walked out of the Stylist’s Guild for the first time, you’ll get a tutorial prompt that helps explain some of the Pear-Pal’s new features, such as passing the time and of course the ‘Friends’ feature. Click the ‘Friends’ button and there will be two submenus for you to use to connect and communicate with your friends. The top menu (face icon) is where you can add your friends, and you have plenty of room to do so, as the game allows you to add up to 200 friends total. That can make for plenty of stylish conversations. The second menu (two figures) is where NPCs such as Dada will join as friends on your Pear-Pal.
To officially add a friend to your list, click the ‘Add Friends’ button at the bottom right corner, as seen above. The game will then prompt you to enter their Friend Code in the space at the top right corner of your screen. If done correctly, their player name should appear on your Friends List. From there you can start a chat log with them, and while you can’t necessarily share your best shots from Photo Mode, you can keep them posted via text on your latest adventures and objectives.
Vice versa, to let your friends add you to their list, you can provide them with your own Friend Code by pushing the ‘Get Friend Code’ button at the bottom right corner. This will automatically copy an eight-character long code for you to send them, and keep in mind that it’s a code that can only be used once. It also will expire after about three days, so your friend will have that amount of time to accept your request before you will need to send it again.
Also, should you feel the need to, there is a Blocklist option directly left of the ‘Add Friends’ button where you can enter names of players you don’t wish to interact with.
To view your NPC friend list, select the second menu down on the left, as seen above. From the moment you first get your Pear-Pal tablet, you should at least see Dada listed. You can view your current chat log with any friends (player or NPC) by clicking the dialogue bubble symbol to the right of their name. You can also view all of your current chat logs at once via the pear-shaped icon at the bottom left corner of the Friends menu.
Can You Play With Friends in Infinity Nikki?
While the Friends feature in Infinity Nikki allows you to connect and chat with friends in-game, unfortunately there currently isn’t a multiplayer or cross-play option to join up and actively play with friends. While the game was originally marketed to allow up to five players to play in a co-op environment, that feature does not seem to be available for the game’s initial launch. That may very well change in the future as the game continues to evolve and receive updates. In the meantime, the game does have a very handy cross-save feature that players can take advantage of.
