Delta Force Mandelbricks, appearances, and weapon skins explained

What are Delta Force Mandelbricks? While Delta Force isn’t operating on a pay to win model, there are microtransactions available for bagging some pretty attractive weapon skins. The good news is that, while you can part with real cash for these goodies, there are ways of getting some stunning appearances for free.

The Delta Force weapons might just be among the best-looking guns we’ve seen in recent FPS games, and they look even better with some detailed and colorful weapon skins attached. These Delta Force weapon appearances can also come with pre-set attachments, all of which are unlockable in-game and keep their skin when swapped out. To get these stylish skins, you need premium currency or Delta Force Mandelbricks.

Delta Force appearances

Delta Force appearances are weapon loadouts with unique skins and tracer effects. They can be purchased in the in-game shop or traded in the market, obtained by opening Mandelbricks, and some can be unlocked for free by completing challenges.

These skins can be unlocked for specific weapons, with basic appearances costing less than more complex designs. All deluxe appearances, including those earned via challenges, can be traded in the market for Delta Tickets. Technically speaking, there are ways to obtain the rarest weapon skins without parting with real-life cash, but you’ll have to rely on the market for any skins you’re willing to part with.

Delta Force Mandelbricks explained

Delta Force Mandelbricks are caches that hold weapon skins and appearances. Opening a Mandelbrick gives you the chance to obtain a deluxe or rare appearance complete with pre-set attachments, giving you a fully kitted out weapon to take into battle.

Other, less exciting, rewards might be obtained when opening Mandelbricks, and you’re not always guaranteed the best items. If you do unbox a deluxe appearance, you can choose to keep or sell them in the in-game market to earn currency. You can also purchase your favorite appearances in the market, as well as unopened Mandelbricks.

Opening a Mandelbrick guarantees you a range of potential prizes, with some being rarer than others. If you’re not lucky enough to draw the rarest reward, selling your duplicates on the market can then earn you the currency needed to buy the best skins outright. Alternatively, you can use real money to eventually guarantee yourself the big money prize.

How to get Delta Force Mandelbricks

Delta Force Mandelbricks can be obtained in many ways. You can purchase them in the in-game market for paid currency, and you can earn Mandelbricks in-game.

In-game Mandelbricks can be obtained in both Operations and Warfare modes. In Operations, the extraction mode, one Mandelbrick spawns per match. Your team must successfully pick up the Mandelbrick and take it to a Decoding Site, which you must protect it for four minutes. Everyone in game knows this location and your location, so it’s a difficult challenge. Successfully extract with the decoded Mandelbrick and every member of your squad will receive a Mandelbrick that is automatically opened post-match.

In Warfare, however, Mandelbricks are rewarded based on performance. The better you perform, the greater chance you have of receiving a Mandelbrick, and again, this is automatically opened in the post-match menu.

How to unlock Delta Force Mandelbricks

Mandelbricks earned through gameplay are unlocked automatically, and reward players with some of the best deluxe skins available. It is possible to receive duplicates, but you can sell them to other players via the in-game market. Another use for Mandelbricks is to combine them with a Quantum Key for a guaranteed chance at receiving the best prize.

Delta Force Scans and Quantum Keys

For higher rarity Delta Force appearances, you can participate in Scans, with a main reward guaranteed once per 75 Scans. Each Scan requires both a Mandelbrick and a Quantum Key.

Quantum Keys cannot be earned in-game and must be purchased with in-game currency. However, this does include Delta Tickets, which are obtained by selling skins via the market. If you open or sell enough Mandelbricks, or earn and sell valuable challenge-acquired appearances, you can buy Quantum Tickets without parting with any real money. Read our separate guide on Delta Force currencies to learn more about Delta Tickets and premium currency.

There’s a lot going on here, but once you start unlocking and trading your Delta Force Mandelbricks and appearances, it will all become clear. If appearances are important to you in battle, you might also want to take a look at the different Delta Force Operators you can choose from in the multiplayer game. However, they do each have their own unique kits that might sway you more than their look.
