Dead By Daylight’s Collaboration with Junji Ito is a Must for Horror Fans

Fans of Junji Ito’s stories will recognize the outfits and legendary skins for the Dead By Daylight collaboration, which have been faithfully recreated from the stories they originally appeared in. Some of the most iconic characters, notably Miss Fuchi and Tomie, appear as recurring characters in several of Ito’s stories. Miss Fuchi appears in the story Fashion Model, as a model and actress whose appearance becomes more monstrous and disturbing over the course of the story, distorting to the form seen in Dead By Daylight. She also makes appearances in the stories Rumors and Voices in the Dark.

Tomie has a larger role, with an entire anthology of stories dedicated to her. Tomie appears as a beautiful teenage girl or young woman with a beauty spot beneath one eye, but upon closer investigation, particularly in artwork or photographs, her true form is revealed to be monstrous. Her form that will feature in Dead By Daylight is one of her most iconic and appeared in Painter, depicting Tomie with two faces.
