A Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 player has discovered a serious visibility issue with a weapon blueprint for the Saug SMG, which can be obtained via the Season 1 BlackCell Battle Pass. Call of Duty‘s weapon blueprints have become increasingly popular in recent years, with Black Ops 6 becoming the latest entry to continue the feature, which allows users to purchase pre-built weapons with unique camo designs.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been a massive success for publisher Activision and developer Treyarch. While fans have had complaints about numerous bugs and glitches since the shooter’s launch in October, Black Ops 6 has still become the biggest Call of Duty title to date. According to Activision, Treyarch’s new entry in the Black Ops series has accumulated the highest number of total players, hours played, and total matches in the first 30 days when compared to all other Call of Duty titles. While the title has clearly been a big hit with players, there are still plenty of issues waiting to be resolved.

Call of Duty Player Discovers Serious Issue With Black Ops 6 Blueprint
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is filled with weapon blueprints for players to obtain. Whether it be via the in-game store, the Season 1 Battle Pass, or even via the game’s campaign, these blueprints not only permanently unlock the base weapon, but they drastically change the appearance of the weapon with a unique camo and some pre-equipped attachments. However, one player has discovered that the Salutations BlackCell blueprint for the Saug SMG is completely broken when removing the weapon’s optic. Over on Reddit, QuantumRavage posted a short clip of the blueprint, which can be obtained on page eleven of the Season 1 Battle Pass, with the Saug’s pre-equipped optic removed. However, it looks like removing the sight makes the gun practically unusable as a flame from the camo flickers directly in front of the Saug’s iron sight.
The discovery has angered the user, who paid for Black Ops 6‘s controversial BlackCell Battle Pass to obtain the blueprint. “No wonder why blueprints are broken, they don’t even attempt to use or test these. All you have to do is ADS and you can see the fundamental flaw with this design,” the user said in their post. However, it’s possible that this is a rare bug, as other users, such as Jumpy_Reception_9466, claim that they “don’t have the flames” over their sight when they use it.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s unrealistic operator skins and cosmetics continue to cause controversy among the game’s community. While some players were hoping that the game’s 90s setting would mean a more grounded approach to store bundles and operators, others were fully prepared for Activision to continue releasing wild cosmetic items as it has done for the past few years. Flaming weapon blueprints and neon green dragon skins have become the norm in Call of Duty, and even though a vocal portion of the community despises them, it looks like they’re here to stay.
